Colonial Pool & Spa Motel - Motel in Long Beach - 802 Pacific Coast Hwy, USA

Sadness saw us visit Launceston due to a Bereavement of a family member. The Quality Colonial motor inn was the chosen stay. The staff were aware of our loss and then made our stay very tranquil . The restaurant had a very rustic appeal that produced a great menu, this we enjoyed on three occasions, scrumptious. A memorable part of the stay was seeing Dale’s two Labradors sitting on the pillar at the entrance to the motel, these dogs were very obedient We look forward to our next stay. ||Pam & Richard

The room smelled extremely like disinfectant. The light didn't work. A generator ran all night. The shower head sprays in all directions. There was no trash can. The reception was unfriendly. Never again. The room isn't worth $90.

Clean and quiet.,update; I was moved 3 times since I rviered.so far TV is not working and the place is swimming with roaches.no guests allowed and owner is making it like jail.

I didn’t take any pictures as I wanted to take my family out of there asap! The place smelled weird, there were no towels near the sink, it didn’t have a coffee maker, dryer, or sofa. The two full beds were undone when we got there and barely fit in the room, the walls were dirty and even more in the bathroom. It seemed people and drug dealers lived there. The door didn’t open well. It seemed people lived there and there was a guy fixing his truck in there. The internet and cable didn’t work. Even when I was checking in, they were having trouble with the computer or internet. The toilet was loose and when I reported it, a guy came in with a screw driver and said he fixed it but it wasn’t fixed. There’s no way you can fix a toilet with a screw driver. It needed nuts to bolt it to the floor and it didn’t have any, the screws it had were rusty yellow. The place needs a huge renovation and maintenance before anyone can stay there.

ROACHES BIGGER THAN TEXAS!! Holes in the walls, LAPD ALWAYS pulling up for drama EVERYDAY ALL DAY, smells like must mold feet and other body parts..., ac broken, hot tub NEVER turned on, homeless wandering the parking lot all hours... I mean the list goes on. Never will we stay here again and to make matters worse we had our 3 children rented 2 rooms and both rooms were nasty!!! My husband wanted to sleep in the car!! Never Again!

Rented a room from Colonial Inn Pool & Spa and got a filthy room with hair all over our the floor and bed bugs. The General Manager demanded that I show him the actual microscopic bed bugs when I asked for a refund before I left. The General Manager at that point got loud with me and refused my refund and then he pretended to call the cops. Scam filthy spot travelers beware

Booked this Thursday to Saturday. Arrived and everything looked sketchy. Nothing was as advertised. Completely ridiculous. Unsafe. Cigarette burns on the blankets & curtains, stains on the headboards, spiders, flies, more stains, dirty ripped furniture, unfinished paint and walls, and so much more. No breakfast included as advertised (although after what I've seen I wouldn't eat anything from there). Didn't even question why we were checking out an hour after arriving (like they already knew) and the only reason we were there for an hour was because we were on the phone with Expedia. Update a few days later per Expedia they refuse to refund us. Not even for the second night, that we did not use. Will be sharing this experience with all booking sites in hopes to get them removed so no one else has to experience this.

STAY AWAY! Changed few rooms, first one - lights did not work and it was hard to breathe because of cigarette smell sprayed with some chemicals, second room had two cockroaches sitting on furniture as I turned the lights on, and also the smell. Third room did not have the smell, also the room did have the new counter stone and shower wall stone installed, but rooms like that, my opinion, should not be rented to customers until renovation is complete. Don’t have the desire to list everything, will attach the pictures, even though pictures can’t describe the whole picture and feeling…
