Yes, this place is very cheap. Is it worth saving a few bucks though? Absolutely not. I was given a room that they hadn't even tried to clean besides making the bed. The soaps were opened and used, the trash was full, and the bathroom was disgusting. No help cleaning it though, just a sorry from the owner when we let him know it was dirty. The water pressure on the shower and sink just wasn't there, which meant I got one shower in the time I was there. They have a massive roach problem. No matter how clean I kept my room or how many times they sprayed, I would have to flick roaches away that were crawling on my bed and pillows. I was kept up at night by a mouse scurrying above my head. The staff bangs on your door to let you know a food truck is there, which is nice if you can't afford food, but they then continue to bang on your door if you don't open (like I didn't since I was sleeping), then shout for you to open the door. I was out for a bit, and came back to find that all of my belongings had been moved around and gone through, while the maid was standing in there making the bed. I allowed her to finish making the bed, then asked her to leave, but she got an attitude before storming out and complaining to the owner. If you're completely broke and have nowhere else to go, the price is cheap. But if you can afford it, find somewhere better. It'll save you a lot of anger and misery.
Rooms need updated.... Saw plenty roaches, very little light or outlets to plug anything in. The beds were falling apart, and the sink was barely attached to the wall in the bathroom. I barely touched it and it fell off the wall. We stayed 3 days and didn't receive any clean towels after the 1st days. Trash can in the room was filthy and had no trash bag in it.
Hot water handle missing in shower refrigerator broken. Only one electrical outlet in the room working. . Filthy dirty rooms. Said no pets. Service animal is not a pet. Doesn't abide by the laws.
While it was relatively okay and quiet, the room had multiple holes in the walls, the bed wasn't very stable, and there were cockroaches. Wouldn't recommend.
Colonial Motel is by the farthest I have stayed in. No bugs..... No bed bugs..... Nice hot shower with extra big towels and amenities like soap and shampoo. I could tell when I walked in the room everything had been cleaned with bleach. The other went WAY BYOND his call of duty to make my night a pleasant stay! Cold AC, Digital clear TV.... FREE WIFI (AND ITS FAST). MICROWAVE.. full size refrdge. I'll be bad and not to mention the bed is comfy
Management is polite... That's about all I can say that's good. There was blood all over the wall and a suicide note, so I'm guessing they didn't clean up behind the headboard. Roaches for days. Carpet was absolute filth. Would I go back? No.. Not unless I get hooked on meth.
Rude house keeping and roaches everywhere. The bathroom didn't even look like someone tried to clean it, no TP and previous guests' soap was still in the tub along with cigarette butts in the shower door track. Mice in the walls and ceiling scurrying around all night. My room door had been unlocked while I was in the shower well past housekeeping hours, meaning someone had a copy of the room key (which isn't hard to do, it's a standard house key which can be copied for $3 at Walmart). Definition of a seedy motel.
Beds are very uncomfortable and the sheets didn’t smell good. Next day I was checking out the owner knocking on the door at 9:00 AM to ask for the key.
My wife and I discovered this distillery just last week and decided to book a tour. I'm so glad we did it is a great unique story of the history and pride taken by a family making some excellent bourbon, moonshine, and rye. I apologize. I didn't get
This place is incredible! Awesome back story, awesome set up, and Milton and Janie were the absolute sweetest people. The animals were all fantastic and the mini-golf course was way better than anticipated - I thought it would be a small, couple hole
My wife and I have eaten here several times now. Always consistently excellent, both the sides and the meats - no matter what we have. And the portions of meat are generous. I am partial to the brisket: melt in your mouth good (and itâs hard to ge
I liked my first visit there but Bandit my pet chi-pen or whatever didn't seem impressed. In fact, he seemed to be looking for a way out. He doesn't like cages even large ones.
My family absolutely loves this walking path. Whether were walking or riding a bike we always feel safe, especially since we have seen police officers patrolling the walkway on bikes. We highly recommend this place.
