Colonial Inn - Motel in Shawnee - 4700 N Harrison St, USA

Easy to find just half mile south of the 40 fwy. Just a very clean simple room and perfect for a traveler with a budget! Bed was comfy and I really loved the crisp clean sheets! Nice to see when I had seen the opposite at other budget hotels. Easy parking for my trailer too... right by my room. Thanks! Ill be back !

Clean room. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker. All good. It was 101° today. Room was horribly hot. Assured that air worked well. 11 PM, my husband still couldn't sleep because it was so hot in our room. Went to the car to cool off. I had heat exhaustion today, and really needed a cool room. This place would probably be okay in the fall, winter or spring...buy NEVER during the summer. My husband has chosen to sleep in the car. We will never stay here again.

Great motel for a quick overnight stop. Nice open area for truck and trailer parking right outside hotel room. Easy on/off for I-40. Was able to get a room last minute for 2 adults and 2 small dogs even knowing we would be arriving late in the night.

The family who run this motel are courteous and professional. They take very good care of the premises, there are flowers in the front and they have an herb garden. The property and rooms are neat and clean and the area is quiet. Very reasonably priced. Coffee machine in the room, as well as microwave, ironing board and iron, good wifi.

They will definitely go in your room. I left at 3 am and came back at 7 am and The guy at the desk came into my room on a one night stay and turned off the air conditioner and opened my window in the summertime. Just happened to me. I'm really glad I didn't bring anything valuable because you could see right I to my room when they opened curtains and window.

Terrible beds. Room was nasty. Furniture wasn't great. Bathtub was scary. Manager was looking into your window to see if we had left 20 mins b4 check out!!!!

The worker was very nice and made things right. I have stayed in hotels that were worse off, but we only made it one hour in the room before we discovered bed bugs.
