So my wife and I went for dinner and the acoustic entertainment (my son) on the patio. My wife's food was amazing mine tasted amazing also. I'm not a fan of capers but my fish had and it was amazing with just the right amount. Unfortunately the fish was loaded with bones. The staff and chef were so apologetic offering me another meal a drink and dessert. With that being said, I would 100% return and recommend th everyone!!!
Reservations were for 6:15 staff very attentive once we sat down. Issue is we were ready to order at 6:30 on a Saturday night. Then told the Blackened swordfish as a special they ran out . AT 6:30pm on a Saturday??? Are you kidding me? So disappointed. The two gentlemen playing music are terrific!!
We went there for our anniversary ( let them know ahead ) we were put in a small room in the restaurant with a large very noisy group, we couldn’t even talk to each other. My meal came out wrong and I had to wait, so we were not eating together again my dessert was completely wrong and mine came out and I was eating alone. Not a great romantic anniversary, I don’t think they cared With that said when the food did come out it was very good but ruined by the atmosphere and not being able to eat together We were disappointed
We had a fantastic dinner here. Our server Bernie was hands down the best we’ve had dining out anywhere. So personable and friendly. The food was great. Can’t wait to come back again.
I have always been a Colonel Blackington Inn fan!!|However tonight, I had the worst steak ever. I asked for a New York strip steak cooked medium ( very simple to cook, right?) so you would think!! however, that was not the case. The steak did not have any seasoning on it, it tasted like leather (I could have gotten a steak from Stop&Shop and overcooked it myself and it would have tasted better than whatever they served me). I don’t know what’s going on with the Colonel Blackington Inn, but if you are looking for a good meal - I would go elsewhere !!!!!!|There was almost no one there (what should have been a clue!!) The atmosphere was dated and the service was just ok.
Went for Mother's day Lunch. They eliminated the Valet parking. Very limited parking. Prices on menu outrageous 98.00 for a chick lobster. Food was pretty pedestrian. Not what it once was. Won't be going back. Riding earlier rep.
We shared our Anniversary dinner at this locale as it never disappoints. The food is superb, May I recommend the filet and stuffed shrimp, my husband and I go halfsies and the seafood stuffing is next level....
The food was good but the staff needed to be more friendly, especially to guests who don't drink alcohol.
Iâve been to a couple different Friendlyâs in the area and every time Iâm underwhelmed. I always miss what Friendlyâs used to be. I canât say enough great things about this location. The staff was so kind and very patient with my children.
I practice Jiu-Jitsu at this faculty and have enjoyed it for a few years. Great teachers as well as a great student base. There are additional training opportunities as well.
