College Town Cafe - Restaurant in Spartanburg - 608 Ethel Rd, USA

Great little place. Prices are very reasonable. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. I had lemon pepper chicken wings, perfectly seasoned. Excellent!!! They had several other flavors that I would like to go back and try. My wife had a burger, it was good. The fries were really good. We also shared a Hotdog, topped with chili, onion and slaw.... Oh so good!!!! From what I understand, they also cater, someone had ordered their collard greens gumbo, (yep, collard greens gumbo) and the lady (I assume the owner) brought a sample for my wife and I to taste. Needless to say, I bought what they had left. They told us that they always have it on Sundays. It was a little too spicy for my wife, but I thought it was perfect. Don't let the outside fool you, go on in. You will be glad you did!

Just had my first Sunday plate from College Town. Hamburger steak, collard green gumbo, Mac and cheese with green beans, and a Johnny cake. Not bland and under seasoned like wades and others. Unless something happens, I will be there every Sunday. Thank you for your great food and hospitality!

Yes, you are in the right place. Don't let the outside fool you. If you want fresh, not frozen, burgers (hand patted) and wings and homemade fries and onion rings (among many other things), this is the place to go. The owners are friendly and down to earth, and the food is just right. My burger was on-point. I really wanted a hot dog and will have to make it back to College Town Cafe to get one when in Spartanburg again.

Me and my wife were passing threw for work and needed a quick bite to eat and this little joint pop up. So we decided swing on threw and see what they were about. I will say the people were really nice and now the the food. The food I ate at the College Town Café touched my soul it no lie was so good I teared up for a second I wish I could tell you I was exaggerating but the food here is truly something special. The pictures here are of a hotdogs combo /w fries and a burger combo /w fries I hope everyone who visits here has the same experience as we had.

Perfect example of not judging a book by its cover! This food was absolutely delicious. We got cheeseburgers, fries, wings and the sweet tea. It was absolutely delicious, every bit of it. They gave us excellent service, and our food was made and delivered in perfect timing. The owners were phenomenal at hospitality, and made us feel so welcomed❤️ We have all great things to say and highly recommend this place to everyone!

Their food is ALWAYS good. The wings are exceptional, and, at 50 cent a wing, you can’t go wrong! I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying their hot dogs (chili is delicious), sausage dogs, burgers, and a few other things too, and all were tasty. Additionally, they’re a local, black family owned business. Truly 5-star experience every time.

I went there for the first time today. I ordered 3 hot dogs all the way with extra onions. Im a hot dog nut and those were the best hot dogs ive ever tried. The owners are very good people very good service and you feel welcome when you walk in and they make you feel welcome. I will continue to go there and i recommend any one who reads this to go there they serve good down home country cooking. Please go check them out you wont regret it.

The food here is out of this world. Oh my goodness, we even ordered extras for lunch the next day! The staff was super friendly! Can not wait to try their Sunday Specials!!!!!
