The Harvest festival took place on a nice day. I only attended because my cousin had a wreath and bows booth. However, there were various choices on nachos, turkey legs, snow cones, tacos, gorditas, and elote. I sampled the Skittles freeze dried candy, and it was definitely different, but I didn't like that all I could taste was the sugar....
good for overnight and move on .. free dump, elec and water hookups... seems there are some long term sketchy folks staying that may be abusing the privileges, would not recommend staying more than overnight
Great free spot with electric! Quiet. Gas station right down the street.
Easy access, quiet for the most part. It could use some maintenance & cleanup in the parking area. There are a few campers that are not occupied and they sit empty with stuff lying around. There was 1 guy that looks to live here and he let's his dog out without a leash & doesn't clean up after the dog. There are dog poops in every site. Other then that it's a convenient place for a night or two.
Generally more quiet at night with less traffic on the highway going out of town. Sties are not bad with a little leveling. 13 sites, 12 with power (30amp), our breaker was weak, tripped at less than 30amps. Power and water at your site. Dump across the road. Some nights we were alone others park was full. Very close to everything to anything you could need/want in town. We will be back.
A good place to overnight or stay a couple of days. We are in the middle of a dust storm and this is a good place to hunker down. The RV Park is city sponsored free park with donations welcome. 30amp and water at the site and a dump station in the park. You definitely want a surge protector as the electric boxes have some age. Sites are relatively level, but will require some final adjustments. As a reminder it is in the city park so there are options for exercise and activities. We are near a southern highway corridor and hear the road noise. Fuel prices are lower than in the two adjacent towns. There is not much room to "set up camp", but it's free! There are many recognizable fast food options in town. Be sure to show your appreciation by visiting the local merchants and restaurants.
For a free park, it was surprisingly good. Felt safe enough to get a good nights sleep. The only issue is the noise since it's right on the main drag. Sites are a little wonky but what do you expect for free? I've had worse at pay parks.
This place was an amazing help to us. It has 30 amp electrical, water, and a free dump. You can stay up to 5 days. Did I mention there’s an amazing skate park and an aquatic park near? The park is closed due to Covid-19 (hopefully the tax payers get to use their pool their taxes built soon....it’s pretty warm here)

My husband and I went here this morning as we are traveling through Brownfield. The donuts were so fresh and delicious and the ham croissant sandwich was also delicious! When we received our order we also had a bonus of donut holes! I would definitel
Checking in was super easy, the man running it is very kind and friendly. He walked us to our room, showed us around, and let us know how to contact him if we need anything. The room was spotless and the bed was so comfortable I was asleep in minutes
Very good food and clean place. Our chef actually gave us sauce right away which many other Japanese restaurants wonât do and some never even give you sauce. But the food was good and so was the soup. The chef was talking with us the whole time he
Passing through Brownfield, TX I came across this hidden jewel of an establishment. Excellent food. Excellent service. Best of all, the free beer with my entree.
