We were passing through so spent a couple nights here with our kitty-cat. Staff was nice, all was super clean and the king-size bed was comfy. Very small additional fee for a cat in the room: I think it was $25 Xtra.|Train across the street ran through multiple times per day, but didn't bother either of us,plus the hotel provided ear-plugs (free) for those who may need them. |We were happy with the choice of this little inn, and would stay again.
I always enjoy the simple but clean rooms. The ability to have cross breezes with windows on both sides of the room is helpful. Our 2 cats are welcome in the motel's pet rooms, and they are fascinated with sitting in the window seeing people come and go. The front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this location too as one can walk to downtown easily.
I stay here every time I travel to Mt Shasta. It is so convenient to walking into town and restaurants. It is very clean, coffee in the room and they are so nice. Looking forward to my next stay. My son lives in Mt. Shasta and I can even walk from his home from Cold Creek. I have a new grandson so will be staying more often.
Positive: Convenience of location and the hotel itself. It was one level, and not too large. I could park in front of room. A staff member phoned me to warn of a traffic jam of 1 hr. That was nice of her. She put my room key in lockbox outside of office. Negative: A policy about pet charge was not mentioned. My email asking about it was not answered. I was charged $25.00 and a $3.00 tax fee for small dog. That was greedy. Most places charge $10. or $15., and often waive the fee. The pet area was very small.
Immaculately clean, a “legacy” motel mostly updated with nice welcoming touches, but room was small; no counter space in the bathroom and limited electric outlets. Well worth it for the price. Walls not well soundproofed.
I forgot an item in the room and I needed it shipped to an address in a different country. Pinto was very understanding and pleasant, she went above and beyond and helped ship my item on her own time.. Talk about customer service, I’m very delighted. Thank you Pinto.
Easy access just a short drive off the freeway. I only gave 4 stars for the location since this place is right next to a train track with frequent trains. The rooms are spacious and clean with complimentary earplugs. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.
The staff here were amazing. We had broken down outside of town and they were super helpful and understanding. A special thanks to Brian for all of his help and awesome customer service. If you are in Mt Shasta Cold Creek in is an amazing place to stay.

My new favorite place in the world. Thousands of rocks, minerals, meteorites and mystical treasures to explore. The owner is amazing and knows where everything comes from.
Mt. Shasta is Stunning.
The drive from Redding to Mt. Shasta is a beast if youâre not a fan of steep, winding, fast roads but once you arrive the view is breathtaking. Only wish we could have stayed longer and hiked.

The Black Butte trail is one of the most spectacular hikes Iâve been on in the USA, especially if you consider how accessible it is from major population centers (I mean, compared to say the Grand Canyon, which is cool and all but more out of the w
I was blown away by this "little" museum. From the front, it looks so small. It was free and we had so many fun things to actually touch. My adult daughters were so happy to use the old typewriter and other gadgets. It had lots of kids items that w
Plenty of parking, easy walk down to the lake to set up at a spot. If you prefer to walk there is a trail that starts here and wraps around the lake. The loop is over 7 miles. I walked down and went to the left to start. Nice views and pretty shaded
The views are amazing! Throughout the route, there are lake views. Downloading the trail is recommended since it's little challenging to follow through the campgrounds and other places.
I love this restaurant so much! This is my go to place for a special meal with my loved ones. Healthy high quality meals. The owner of the restaurant is so sweet, knowledgeable, and attentive! He and his wife go down to the bay area every week to get
