Overall a great experience sitting at the bar. Anita made us some incredible drinks and was super friendly and funny. She provided great recommendations on both food and drink.

I hosted my moms birthday brunch in the private room, Avalon, for 19 ladies this morning. Emily, the catering coordinator, was an immense help setting everything up pre-party. She was extremely responsive and very kind. I arrived a half hour before the start to set up, and was helped by Martin, a staff member out front, who was also extra kind and helpful in getting everything to the room. The room is beautiful, spacious, even with 19 people + staff! Our servers were wonderful, attentive, kind, and professional. Highly recommend booking the Avalon room. Overall a wonderful experience which made my mom have an amazing birthday brunch.

This was our second time at Coin & Candor (for dinner), and we won't be going back for a while. This is just a review for their dinner service; we occasionally go for brunch and find that to be a much better meal. The fresh bread is always amazing, the forbidden rice is a textual & flavor wonderland, and the drinks were tasty and relatively strong. But beyond that, the meal was actually pretty bad. My wife's chicken was overcooked and bone dry. My "wagyu" strip was incredibly tough and had practically no intramuscular marbling. I've had plenty of wagyu steaks in the past few years (even a few that were from this particular ranch, Snake River Farms), and whatever they served me definitely wasn't wagyu or any variant of it; the cut was probably choice. I ordered it medium, because generally a super fatty cut like wagyu tends to need a little more temp to render all that fat (normally I would go for a medium rare), but it was served closer to well done. We also got a side of the cabbage, which was a complete disaster. It was acrid, bitter, and burnt tasting without having any real flavor profile to speak of. Our server was also very mediocre, but the rest of the service staff was really great, so I'm not docking an additional star for that. Overall, when I'm spending nearly $300 on two drinks and a meal, there are a million better places to do it. Sure, this was better than fast food, but for the price I'd rather go to Moody Rooster or any number of similar joints where you can get amazing food for quite a bit less.

I absolutely loved my experience here! The food was excellent! We ordered the calamari for starters and then had the red snapper for our main dish. The red snapper was huge! I was very impressed by the portion. I'd recommend ordering a couple items to share for variety for your main dishes. I finished out with their chocolate lava cake. It came with some an extra cookie and scoop of ice cream. Very delightful surprise. 😍 The cocktails were also done to perfection. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. Definitely coming back. :)

Food was great but don't go hungry! Extremely small portions! Idk 500 bucks for a few bites was very disappointing for Easter Brunch. They compt the cokes but honestly I don't recommend going if you're hungry! It was delicious but like 2 bites! Uhgg!!

Great food and service. The place is nice full of light with outdoor fountain. The chicken and risotto were delicious. Also good cocktails. I'd pass on the coffee

I LOVE this restaurant! We came here for cocktails the night we arrived and had the signature drink called COIN & CANDOR On Tonic made with a floral gin called monkey 47 gin, house-grown lavender juniper berry, dried lime but we were given a dried blood orange and the bar tender added a long thin slice of cucumber. We also had a rum drink called the KENTUCKY EARL made with coconut washed bulleit bourbon, earl gray syrup, soda water, angostura bitters. Both were awesome! The next day we ordered breakfast and it blew us away! My favorite and recommendation is to order the Breakfast Set. It’s like a buffet brought to your table. It includes coffee or tea, juice, a yogurt parfait with granola, croissant with butter and jam, and then 2 eggs cooked any style, amazing breakfast potatoes, bacon and toast. You will not go hungry!! Excellent service and sitting outside listening to the waterfall is an outstanding way to start your day!
