This coffee bar was amazing, Coffee Surf Belmar Beach NJ . Any kind of coffee your heart could desire. Morgan and Nicole were so great and gave us the best service. We actually went back twice the same day it was so good. I had the coconut latte then later a fantastic Expresso. My fiance had a chocolate mocha delight and then a regular coffee. I love this idea of just a coffee bar with no alcohol, every coffee lovers dream. Morgan made this awesome tie dye muscle shirt. We will most definitely be back again.
I very rarely review, but when I see something exceptionally egregious I have to say something. This place is HORRIBLE. The latte was nothing special, but the service was terrible. While a blond, middle-aged woman was making my drink (10:30am on Monday Dec. 18), she was stopping to talk with 3 other patrons having coffee and bashing liberals and minorities (They were all white). She was agreeing with them and bashing liberals as well. I am a liberal. When I see customers talking about it that is fine they have every right I just ignore it. However, when I enter an establishment I don't expect the workers to take a side while they are in the middle of fixing an order for somebody! While she is fixing my order she spews hate out of her mouth. I will be telling my friends, family, and non-profit organizations I am a part of to not order or buy anything from this company unless you like racist and hateful drinks! The owner needs to hire better people. (BTW this establishment is located inside a Playa Bowl)
The staff is always friendly every time I come here. The coffee tastes great. This is definitely my go to coffee place because of that.
It's awful place. The lady in their is super crazy😨 she kept staring at me while I am placing my order. She was cursing the owner of Surf coffee loudly and saying he doesn't pay her enough and kept cursing mon stop. She charged me first and than she asked for tip or actually pressured me to give her a tip. I told her, I didn't feel comfortable to tip her than she again kept starring at me until I left. What a crazy psychopath...she gave me a completely wrong drink but honestly it wasn't worth to argue with her to ask her to fix it. Truly..don't go here, the woman is totally crazy 😨 They are next to playa bowl that's why I went here...but she was seriously crazy
I’m not in the area often, but when I am I make sure to stop by Coffee Surf. The coconut cold brew is great. Staff is always super friendly. If you like more dessert like drinks they definitely have you covered with all the different crazy lattes they can make.
I stop here every time before hitting the beach. Delicious cold brew on tap! There are a bunch of other drinks as well, but I just stick with black cold brew : )
It's always cool visiting this chill coffee shop inside Playa Bowls in Belmar, NJ. The owner Barry, is super chill and the baristas are always cool too. I love the Nutella Acai Iced Latte. Such great and innovative flavors executed in making their menu. Coffee is amazing here. This coffee shop is one of my top rated cafes.
