This place is my favorite for getting coffee before work and sometimes after. David and Kelly are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. They take great pride in the product that they deliver. You you haven't stopped buy here you are missing out!!!!
Never judge a book by its cover… I almost didn’t go in here (guilty). I was waiting for someone at the DMV next door and walked past it once without going in because well, it didn’t look like a fancy coffee shop. Eventually I did and I was so pleasantly surprised by the most important thing in a coffee shop: Their coffee! I asked for 2 shots of espresso and foam, the old guy behind the counter responds with “you mean a macchiato”. I felt like an idiot for not saying that and assuming he wouldn’t know. His wife made my drink. I thought “oh for sure she’s gonna get it wrong”. I was so wrong. She made the perfect macchiato for me. There are so many pretty-looking fancy coffee shops out there staffed with young hipster looking baristas who have no clue what’s the difference between a latte and a real macchiato. These old folks have done their homework for they are avid coffee drinkers like I am :) So refreshing! Please pay them a visit!
Super tasty sandwiches and the owner is really nice. Was my first time but I could feel the warm connection that the regular customers have here.
The smoothest espresso I've ever had! They craft both hot and cold drinks to perfection. I love everything about this coffee shop- the owners are wonderful, the coffee and food are amazing, and I love supporting a small business.
Felt hungry after doing business at the DMV and stopped in here. The place is small but very clean, and I was happy to hear they were still serving breakfast at 11. My ham egg and cheese croissant was perfect. The eggs especially were the ideal consistency to go in a sandwich. They were folded in the shape of the bread and a bit fluffy, meaning they were cooked to order. Shame in not in the area more often, or I would come here regularly!
Just happened to see this place and I'm so glad! Coffee was fantastic! Nice to support a local business 🙏🏽🥰
Absolutely amazing. The scones are incredible and the coffee is delicious. This hidden gem is a must visit! The couple who runs the shop are super sweet and I love coming in for my morning coffee fix.
Quiet, calm music in background, and conveniently located next to the half day dmv. Good food, reasonable prices, polite staff.

The bright, clean, quiet environment of Capitola Coffee is inviting and open. I had the pour over, and my friend had a salted caramel cappuccino. The coffee was great, although I think my pour over was brewed a bit high, but I realize it's nit-pickin
I really enjoyed this coffee shop. I got lucky with an open comfy, brown leather chair and a delicious oat cappuccino. I also ordered the breakfast sandwich and opted to add the jalapeno salmon spread. Highly recommend that spread, it was amazing!!
