The drip coffee was bold and had good flavor. My wife liked her matcha latte. We also had an Ube Mochi cake which was amazing. The staff were friendly and quick. I’ll be coming back here.
There’s so many options on the island for coffee now it’s hard to decided where to go. I finally tried this place out after driving by it so many times. First of all, this place serves soft serve! I love soft serve so I will be definitely coming back for that. I got an affogato for my caffeine fix. Most places use vanilla ice cream, but this place uses vanilla soft serve. It was a nice twist that I really appreciated. I was able to mix the soft serve and espresso together and make espresso slushy. Also got myself a pineapple soft serve. I enjoyed it all at their nice outdoor seating area. It’s a great place to hang out and drink coffee.
A nice modern feeling coffee shop along Park Avenue in downtown Alameda. One of my two favorite coffee shops on Alameda - which I alternate between when I come to work on occasional Fridays here.
They have some very interesting lattes coming around here, I very much enjoyed their fresh mint latte which they are not currently serving, but they alternate between fresh flavors very often so you'll usually find something you like.
They have amazing gourmet pastries, with very healthy ingredients. I love their quiches, and today I enjoyed a seasonal Kuign Amman with apricot center. My only complaint is that they sell out pretty quickly in the morning, so sometimes there's very little left when I get here... 😔
They also have other offerings such as soft serve ice cream, which I have not yet tried but probably will one of these days. I suspect it is very good. The pour overs are very worthwhile as well.
They have a cozy modern interior and an outdoor seating area which feels rather serene even though it's in a downtown city area.
The baristas are always fantastic and friendly, and do a great job.
Coffee Culture is a top notch caffeine dispensery! Great coffee, espresso, baked goods, pupucinos, affagatos and friendly staff... Nice place to hang, indoors or outside in their courtyard. Parking can be a little tricky but well worth the hunt... Enjoy!
I'm up in the bay for a few days and wanted some good coffee and after searching through a few reviews, I decided to check out Coffee Cultures. Let's get into the parking, parking was very limited. I had to park in a no parking zone just for my coffee fix, I'm glad to say I was able to leave here ticket free LoL... but aside from that the shop has a cool vibe and the employees were super friendly, attentive and nice. It is a little small and can get crowded quick if you choose to sit in but again, I love the vibes. I ordered an Iced Lavender Latte with Oat Milk and it was okay. It did lack in the lavender flavor( which I was expecting more of) but it wasn't the worst I've had but it wasn't the best either. It gave me more of a vanilla latte with a faint lavender undertone. Would i come here again? Definitely! There's other things on the menu I would like to try. Customer Service is a biggie for me and they were awesome!! I felt welcomed and service was prompt. My overall experience at Coffee Culture was a great one!!
They serve one of the best oat milk mochas I’ve tasted! Lovely place with outdoor seating. Unfortunately, parking is very tricky/hard to get.
Definitely a new go-to coffee place when I'm in the area! The prices are pretty standard, but what truly makes this place special is their soft-serve that allows them to make affogatos and their custom made syrups (I tried the vanilla in my iced latte).
It was my first time trying an affogato, and I got to say that alone is worth coming back for. The espresso shot was pull nicely, allowing it to be somewhat creamy by itself. The temperature contrast between the espresso and ice cream in the beginning was fun , and when they both mellowed out you mixed it to essentially make coffee ice cream. I can't say enough good things about it! Try it out.
Nice staff, well light location, and plenty of parking nearby.
Typically my experience here is great, the employees are smiling and greet our dog. But now there is a young skinny kid with blonde hair that kinda zapped my energy. He did not greet me, just stared at me to order, he spoke super low so I asked him to repeat it and he looked annoyed, not the vide I am used to. The coffee is amazing, it’s my favorite coffee shop, it was just my experience that I did not like.
I was eating across the street and noticed Pinball Museum sign. I'm always very curious, so I walked in and was blown away.
More than what I imagined. Cashier explained everything in detail and broke down pricing and gave me a brief description and
Very unique old school video arcade located in Alameda's busiest commercial district. Pay for unlimited plays for a certain amount of time.
Decent selection of games range from the oldies like centipede and Pac-Man and Tron up to somewhere more mode
Hidden gem in Alameda! Or maybe itâs not a hidden gem, and everyone knows this place. Regardless, all the dishes that we ordered were really good.
- Basil fried rice (super fragrant)
- BBQ lemongrass pork ribs (fall off the bone tender)
- Stuffed c
My partner and I stopped in here for a light dinner. We had a few cocktails and tried the charcuterie board and Margarita flatbread pizza. We really enjoyed everything we tried and had an amazing night. We will definitely be coming back here for date
Great variety of local beers on tap ranging from juicy IPAs to malt-forward stouts, all made with Admiral Maltings' malted grain. They even had local whiskies made with their malts, (will have to try those next time), and they offer tours of their fa
When I moved here from San Diego 2 years ago, I took a short walk and found this spot. Within moments, I was served by a great lady. Within 5 more minutes, I called her back over, introduced myself, and told her that I'd just moved here and that thi
If youâre in the East Bay and have a thing for ice cream, this is your spot. Itâs where I find the most unique flavors, like Filipino Calamansi and the standout Dan Tat, which is essentially Chinese egg custard turned into ice cream. Itâs perfe
Nice and cool area with the breeze from the bay air. Perfect place for large and small dogs. Pretty bustling on the weekends with so many pups playing. There's always a trashcan within and reach to drop off the dookies.
This place is WELL worth the trek.
The whole area is ripe for improvement, but Faction has done an incredible job taking the lil slice of Alameda and delivering a view to doe for and delicious beers.
