Need more food like this in LA the appetiser shrimp was a bit small but the sauce was pretty unique🎉👍 The jerk chicken was flavourful and delicious! The rice ball could be a bit spicy but not to me which is good! The oxtail is similar to “rawon” in Indonesia cuisine! And the fried banana is also tasty😜 The bbq pork ribs was boneless and portion was generous topped with coleslaw which was refreshing They have their recognition from some media as attached too! From memory it’s not too expensive and will definitely come back if i’m in the palo alto area

The jerk pork was fantastic! Super juicy and well spiced. The plantains were delicious and sweet. The manager came up and chatted with us, super nice and clearly cares about the restaurant. He brought us a sample of the habanero hot sauce, which had great flavor- I ended up taking a small container home!

Went here for an early dinner. The restaurant has ample indoor and outdoor seating. There are interesting drinks and a good selection of Caribbean dishes. The goat curry was tasty and the ribs were a child favorite. The jerk chicken was just ok and the meal took a long time, even getting the drinks and bill.

Very slow service, had to wait for more than 20minutes just to get seated. Once we were seated, they took 10-15minutes just to get water and then take our order. I’m a vegetarian and ordered coconut curry tofu. The tofu was so bland and curry was very spicy. It almost tasted like Thai food and not Jamaican. Portion size was huge but food not up to the hype at all. I liked their buttermilk cornbread and I would recommend that

Love this place Have been coming here since it was Coconut Caribbean, like a decade ago. The quality of food hasn't changed. The mutton dish is still to die for. The jerk chicken is awesome and the shrimp and salmon are yum. It's always a pleasure to come back here and have a meal which seems so homely and yummy. My top pick here is the mutton dish and then the shrimp, followed by everything else.

Food was very tasty. We shared the coconut shrimp, plating was lackluster. I had the combo curry shrimp and jerk chicken, it was delicious! Also the plantains that come with the meal are sooo good! Service was super friendly but slow to get us our drinks and bill. The restaurant is eclectic but needed a bit of cleaning. The table next to was was not being used but was dirty and not wiped down and I couldn’t use the appetizer plate because it was also dirty. All in all we had a good dinner and the flavors outweigh the other mishaps. Will definitely come back again.

Pretty good place, busy during Friday evening. Jerky chicken and pork ribs were great. The vegeterian option - curried tofu - was not good. The whole vibe of the place was nice. They had a bar and they serve alcohol. Service was okay. We went during the busy time and had to wait a long time to get a server come to our table. Overall, 4 stars.
