This was my 2nd time staying here, but my 1st in the Penthouse Suite. Everything was amazing. The penthouse was clean, rooms were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with supplies. The bathrooms stay pretty warm, but doors can be kept shut to manage the temperature difference. The property itself is always clean in common areas. I miss their complimentary breakfast but enjoyed the coffee available all day. The valet is extremely attentive and quick to retrieve cars. Staff makes an effort to get to know guests. Highly recommend, and I have been told I'm difficult to please :)
The staff at Coconut Waikiki were so friendly and welcoming. All the valet drivers were efficient, polite, and helpful. The front desk staff were always there to assist and answer questions. You can tell the staff cared about providing the best guest experience! The property is well maintained and very clean. We enjoyed our stay very much at Coconut Waikiki Hotel!!
Rooms are pretty dated, but the staff are very friendly and attentive. Would be nice to have conditioner in the showers (there IS shampoo and body wash), creamer/sugar for the instant coffee in the rooms (there is some downstairs, though) and better quality toilet paper (the stuff was like sandpaper, I tell ya). They do have free coffee and tea downstairs in the lobby, as well as a water bottle fill station. The shower floors are VERY slick and an older person might have a rough time with that. The rooms could use a little love, but I do understand this is a cost-friendly hotel. It's great for what you pay and it was clean.
Don't know where to begin! This is Waikiki best kept secret! We spent 2 weeks and it was great. Robert, Shanell (not how you spell it), Troy, Linda and everyone else made our stay great. The staff really is what brings you back, they always had a smile and a warm greeting. Robert your laugh is amazing, Shanell your smile is as warm as the sunshine and Troy your friendliness and always a smile was a great morning wake up getting coffee and saying hi. You will not be disappointed if you like a great place on the canal watching the clouds roll over the mountains and enjoying the view and great people!! We will be back!
We spent 15 unforgettable days at the Coconut Waikiki Hotel in Hawaii. Our stay was simply perfect thanks to the warm welcome, kindness and great helpfulness of the staff. Their professionalism really marked our experience. We would definitely recommend this hotel to all future arrivals, you will not be disappointed. Additionally, I was lucky enough to be upgraded upon arrival and had a magnificent view facing the mountain. Thanks to the whole team for making our stay so memorable.
I love this hotel - it's reasonably priced and has a great relaxed vibe and friendly staff. I appreciate the filtered water, free coffee and popcorn and the little kitchenettes in the rooms and it's been a great location for some business I had to get done nearby. I don't think I'd stay anywhere else at this point. Twice I've booked a city view and gotten a canal view without even asking, and the canal view is lovely. The parking valets are awesome!
There is nothing wrong with the hotel or the people who work there. The people who work there are very kind. My only problem was that there are hidden fees like crazy at this hotel. It is displayed all over the place that parking is $40 a night. However, after spending four nights there, my checkout bill was over $300. The young lady who worked at the counter couldn’t really explain to me why it was so much until she looked into it for about 20 minutes. And then she simply told me it was the amenities fee. On the same display where it says $40 underneath the bold huge letters it says and amenities. It is never explained what that is, how much it is per night, etc. etc. I don’t even think the young lady knew herself what it was. This should be displayed more so that people are prepared
Friendly helpful staff, good location off main drag but close to most Waikiki. We had beautiful Mountain View with nice balcony. Quick valet Service with no charge for in and out. Did not go into pool but looked small but inviting. We had a dog with us for which a small fee was charged. Good places to walk him close by.
The hotel is very nice and modern. Everything is new and in good condition. The location is very central close to everything. I stayed in the ocean view room for 6 nights. The view is very pretty, and you can see Friday night fireworks from my bedroo
This hotel is a great place to stay while staying in Hawaii. I haven't had a bad experience while staying here.
The staff are friendly and go out of their way to help you with any questions. The rooms are perfect size for a vacation and updated for t
Ono, soo ono. If you enjoy the taste and feel of each bite in your mouth, this is the place for local, healthy, ono eats. Fresh every single time. This is the first time in my life that I have eaten at one restaurant three (3) times IN THE FIRST WEEK
Shoot was - as expected - amazing. Stunning mastery of technique, patter, and showmanship. Hilarious sense of humour, was great at working the crowd and had a lot of warmth and heart incorporated into his performance, and the story he told throughout

I have been searching and searching for great biscuits and gravy like I used to get back in Texas, and OMG these were so so so so much better than that. Did something different and went with the chicken biscuits and gravy and was happily surprised at
