Coconut Palms Beach Resort - Resort hotel in New Smyrna Beach - 811 S Atlantic Ave, USA

Not our best visit here. We've been the past 3 of 4 years. Our room was on the 5th floor and at times both elevators were out. This was hard for my husband who had a recent heart attack and couldn't climb the stairs easily. Management was very rude and told us we could just wait. The pool was closed early one night without any notice and people were rudely told to leave or they were gonna be locked in the pool area for the night. One family had just had pizza delivered and were trying have a family meal. And we couldn't sit on the balcony because of construction next door and constant jack -hammer like noise all day. Again - we love this area but this was our worst visit in regards to how employees treated us. The one exception was Dominic. He was always professional, very attentive and went above and beyond to help guests.

We had a very nice stay at Coconut Palms 2. Right on the beach, close to town and restaurants. Our room was clean and had plenty of windows and light. We had business in Daytona but did not want to stay there and had never been to NSB. Glad we tried something new!

The moment I walked in to there so called lobby , I was disappointed. All of the personnel working at the front desk were rude!! There were no carts to take your luggage to the room. I had to make several trips from my car. One elevator and the smallest one I've ever been in. Parking was unbelievable!! The hotel is falling apart and dirty. The bathroom shower didn't have any grab bars , which was a big issue for us. I talked to the young man at the desk about moving us. That conversation went nowhere. Don't waste your money!!

Perfect location with something for everyone! Loved that it is right on the beach and you can walk to Flaglar St!! The shops, restaurants and bars were a lot of fun. We had 2 units, well stocked, comfortable and very clean. We can't wait to go back!

We would likely stay here again. The beach was close and the pool area was great. Restaurants were within walking distance. Also Apollo beach national park was a few miles away…very nice.

We have friends staying here all the time. They keep it clean, pretty well maintained. Great location can walk to everything in town. And of course it's on the beach.

We stayed at the Royal Palm building which is in serious need of a renovation. The dishwasher wasnt cleaning because a part was loose. The shower head was rusty. The kitchen was just barely furnished. The living room seats 4 and no more. I'm adding a star because we paid a decent price to stay for the week.

Construction ongoing, but nicest desk staff ever!hopefully they can restore this place & the Royal back to its prior charm with plants in the floor planters, & revamp the Tiki bar. The beach is well kept by the county & driving the beach is allowed. Many places to eat are nearby, or Uber/doordash/Grubhub if u must. Publix & super Walmart are near.
