I came here on Sunday afternoon and the store was not so crowded. We ordered Mango jelly and strawberry jelly. Even though they call “coconut jelly” it’s more like coconut pudding. I really like the coconut jelly because not too sweet and feel very refreshing specially it was a hot day. Also you can take the cute jar home also. Highly recommend. I would love to try other flavor soon.
What a cute little dessert shop tucked away in a strip mall in Rowland/Hacienda Heights. The name of this store is regal, it's referring to the Qing Dynasty Emperor, Qian Long lol. They even put out a series of clay dolls resembling the Emperor, his Queen and also his Royal Consort. The one turned facing the other direction remains a mystery, but I'd venture to guess it's either a concubine or Palace Maid. This place is famous for their coconut jelly dessert. This dessert comes in a variety of flavors. I picked the one with mango toppings. Velvelty-smooth in texture and the mango chunks added a nice zing of flavor. They package the coconut jelly dessert in a glass jar and you can reuse it!
Their coconut jelly is SO GOOD. The mouth feel is very lush and rich but it's surprisingly light. I ate a whole jar in one sitting and it didn't feel heavy. The coconut flavor is phenomenal. I've never had such a good coconut jelly before. It's so soft and creamy. I got the hawthorne one. It was good but I liked just the original jelly better. So much that I even got a another jar. I love the packaging, the glass jars are a really great take home item. I use em now to store my overnight oats. Highly highly recommend coming here if you love coconut like I do :D
Coconut jelly is more softer than I expected. Doesn't mean it's bad.

I had the durian flavor and they have real durian meat on top of it so I was pleasantly surprised. Will try more flavors next time.
I came around 9:30pm and it was empty. Got their single coconut jelly and original egg waffle. Needless to say, their coconut jelly is sooo good. The jelly is super addicting. It’s milky, soft, and silky. I just can’t get enough of it!! Now I regret not getting more when I was there. The waffle came out fresh and warm.

The first time i saw a lot of water in coconut jelly, and water on the lid, looks like recycling, I'm not going to buy it again, very disappointed.
