Okay i am not one to like petting zoos, but this was AMAZING. I went in expecting disrespected animals in poor enclosures and that was NOT the case. Every animal was excited to see people, they made sure the animals were treated well and very fair priced. The animals look well tended and happy. A vet tech took our home school group around and taught us some cool things about their exotic critters. We even got to see a Newbern baby alpacha, camels, a baby cow, lots of cute baby pigs, ferrets, ring tailed lemurs and so much more. I have 3 kids 5 and under. Animals were all respectful and great to my kids. Will be going again.

Our family stopped in on a beautiful Sunday afternoon around 1pm. General admission is $15 and includes the Hayride, Pony Ride (90 lb. max), and Reptile room. Add on's included Feed buckets $5, Camel rides $10-15? (Can't remember, we chose not to do this as we've rode before and it's kinda rough ride, Hold a 6 ft Snake $5 (it is Free to hold and touch the smaller snakes), Monkey Show $10 (dates TBA), Hold a baby Kangaroo. Our family of 4 spent $110, not including the concession. We bought 2 buckets of feed and chose to hold the baby Kangaroo, which we were a little disappointed with. The last time we visited the park, it was before the fire and we had a great experience holding the babies! This time we got to privately interact with small kangaroos. They have done great rebuilding their venue; however, we weren't as pleased this go round for the price. If you are afraid of free range farm animals, like baby goats and emu following you around, turkey, peacock, and so much more just roaming freely, then you probably shouldn't visit.

We had a tremendous time taking the kids out to play and see the animals! I didn't expect the emus and alpacas to be free roaming, but they were so cool to interact with and pet! Plus, my nuggets got to hold some joeys!

So much fun!! My 6 year old loves going to Cockrills! They have an awesome petting zoo and you can feed all the different animals from llamas to emus! The kangaroo experience was AWESOME! Definitely check it out

Super great place to bring children of any age! It was super hot so I'd wait until the fall to go. Everyone was so nice, the animals were friendly and seemed happy. I would definitely recommend this place! It's $15 per person, kids under 1 get in free. I thought it was a little expensive but with pony rides, a hay ride, and huge farm it was well worth it!

If you love nature & animals you need to visit this place!! The owners Janice & Eddie are 2 amazing human beings that love their creatures and people!! They have transformed this place into their dream & vision to provide a safe, fun place for children & families. So come on over and enjoy, bring lots of animal crackers for all the creatures, they have alpacas, cows, goats, pigs, horses, camels, monkey, birds, kangaroos.. .and many..many more...sorry to say but its better than the zoo...enjoy!!

Amy & Jakob came to our home over an hour away with their mobile petting zoo for our granddaughter's birthday party. It exceeded our expectations! They set up a pen for the smaller animals, and four children were allowed in at a time to pet the animals. They also gave mini pony or horse rides to every child at the party. It was a big hit!

Friendly staff. Very clean picnic and playground areas. Reasonable rates, day use for picnicing and/or swimming is only $12 USD for ages 12 and up. Water in swim lake was very clear. The bottom of the lake has a thin layer of sediment and sand over
