Absolutely loved it here! The food was amazing, the staff was friendly and very attentive. The coleslaw and cornbread was my favorite, but everything was so good!! Prices aren't bad either for my family of 5.
Our waitress Ashley was amazing and attentive! She made the right recommendations and we were very pleased with our meal!! Definitely a great place to take your family or if you want to go solo. The staff will take good care of you with their southern hospitality and comfort food.
Deanna is our server and she’s pretty good. I had the 4 piece catfish dinner. We got the beans, turnip greens, corn bread and all the fixings! The inside and outside are rather interesting. The fish batter is light and flavored. Everything is hot and fresh. I would highly recommend a visit here. You’ll feel like your at home ;-)
I haven't been here for a while, but any time I want good chicken tenders and catfish, this is the place for me. The greens and cornbread remind me of how grandma used to make it....so good.
Party of 6 for a committee meeting. Were seated in a room that had only 3 other tables so conversation was easy to have. All 6 had a drink during our meeting discussion which were reasonably priced. Service was timely. 2 of the 6 ordered the grilled/blackened option and kitchen timed it so all the orders came simultaneously. Ordered fried pickles and onion rings for the table. All the food was appropriately seasoned, properly cooked and were generous amounts. First time for 5 of the 6 of us, all agreed it would be worth using again as a meeting location.
We had a fantastic server, Charles. He answered all of our questions and was so attentive! The portions are very large and have great seasoning. Sometimes fried food can just taste fried, but not here. We had both the chicken and catfish and really liked them both. The table gets cole slaw, pickled onions and skillet cornbread and they are delicious! Really enjoyed our night! Thank you!
Hands down the best chicken strips I have ever had. You might think, how good can a chicken strip be? Well, freaking awesome here!! The atmosphere is rustic and country. The service is tentative and engaging. It is a must have location on your time in the Nashville area.
While the prices are definitely tourist-level. The portion sizes are good and the catfish and chicken is very good. The atmosphere is a tad jarring but not in a bad way. Service is usually well above average and I have never had a wait the over dozen times I have been here. The catfish is the best in nashville.
