Huge delicious $5 breakfast burritos!!! Careful though, they are wet and runny, so unless you want burrito juice all over yourself, don’t eat in your car! Fast and friendly service! Tasty and filling!!!

Cute Mexican Place. Fast service and great food. I ordered the asada street tacos with cilantro. The fried ice cream was tasty. Our waitress was wonderful. I will definitely be back soon!

The asada burrito was delicious and huge. My kids loved the street tacos, and the nachos were also very filling and made it fried chips. The food was really good. And the portions were large. I look forward to going back.

Loved the atmosphere and colorful interior! Got the street tacos. I think street means small in Spanish 😆. The tiny tacos were delicious! The service was mediocre. I'll probably go back again.

Burrito was lukewarm at best, service was surly. I am a senior citizen, female, and the friendliness toward the lunch tables with men and couples versus my service was marked. I would have stayed longer and spent more if the food was hit-or warm- and if the server were less disdainful. I thought he didn’t want to be working but it seems he didn’t respect women and elders. The other sever seemed much friendlier but unfortunately he wasn’t my sever. Quite disappointing.

Great food and friendly staff. Chips and salsa were excellent but $3. Enchiladas Trio was tasty and large (wife and I split). Sopapillas and ice cream fantastic. Quiet and relaxed atmosphere but not many tables. Recommended. We’ll be back.

I’m going preface this by saying that “my” weekend breakfast burrito is one of the joys in my life I look forward to. After a long stressful week there is something about grabbing a Bfast Burrito, a little caffeine, and sitting quietly enjoying the silence. I discovered Cocina in Berthoud after trying to visit my “newest” favorite Bfast Burrito in Lyons. Only to be disappointed that it was closed. Driving back to Loveland I decided to try Cocina in Berthoud. MINDS WERE BLOWN!!! How have I not been there. THEN finding they had a location in Loveland was awesome. Arguably, on some days driving to Berthoud is easier than trying to get over to the Loveland location. Regardless, I gave them a try on Saturday in March…. Though it is one of the nicest decorated joints I’ve been to in town (eg the artwork is worth the visit), I was put off on the unwelcoming vibe I received from the person taking my order. THEN once it came out of the kitchen it was announced what it was and just handed to me with no joy. Disregarded that and decided to sit in the dining area to eat it. My disappointment was unmediated when I opened the foil. There is an art and love in wrapping burritos and whoever wrapped this one showed me it was not made with either. I NEVER want to eat a burrito with a fork. But this required it as there was no saving this plane crash of a burrito. I stepped up to the bar/counter and the person was on their phone. When they finally noticed me and I asked for a fork they grabbed one and handed to me with no words. I finished my “plane crash”, cleaned up the table, and left wanting a redo. Fast forward to that evening having dinner with friends and I explained my experience. They stated that is NOT the experience they’ve had there and I should give them another try. Today was the day. SAME EXACT FEELING when the burrito was handed to me. I decided to go home and begin my weekend in peace and a “good” bfast burrito. Unfolded the foil with the care that these little packets of sustenance joy deserve and it appeared that the burrito was wrapped with no care for the person that was looking forward to the experience. SAY NO TO LEAKY BURRITOS!!! But I pressed on. At the first bite I was thinking something was amiss. The potatoes were undercooked and it was swimming in chili. Now I like chili, but this is a burrito NOT A bread bowl. I shouldn’t need a spoon. But I pressed on. And halfway through I realized what was missing. THERE WAS NO BACON!!! I order the same burrito from the Berthoud Cocina every time. “Medium Bacon please”. And this had no bacon. I can count on two fingers how many times I haven’t finished a breakfast burrito. One time was grabbing one a from a gas station in 2015 and the other time is today. I am so disappointed and know they are capable of so much more because the Berthoud location is the bar they should try to meet. BUT, this will be the last time I give the Loveland location a try. It is a sad start to my weekend after a stressful work week.

The food was so good, and great atmosphere we will definitely be coming here again! :)
