Cobblestone Hotel & Suites - Superior/Duluth - Hotel in Superior - 1102 Tower Ave, USA

This is a well kept hotel. We had a king suite so we had plenty of room. The room was clean, the heating/cooling worked well, the breakfast options were adequate. This hotel is a good choice if you want to visit the Duluth area but want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the canal district. It's quiet and the price was very good compared to the canal area. No it's not on the water, however it's a quick and easy drive over the bridge to Duluth. Our only disappointment was that the pool was closed.

Very clean and a good breakfast in the morning. The pillows were just right and the bed was very comfortable.|There was some confusion when checking in and our room was not what we expected. The manager in no time at all solved the problem in a very professional way.|I will definitely be back.

This is a beautiful hotel and our second time staying there. We appreciate that it is pet friendly. All staff was friendly and welcoming. The only suggestion we were going to make and didn't was the side door was not working with our key card. We took the dogs out for an evening bathroom break and couldn't get back in the side door. Had to come around to the front entrance, which was fine, but it would have been nice to have had that key card reader working.

Good room. Comfy bed. Just wish pool was open. We were up for a friend's wedding and it was a perfect place to stay after the wedding. We were able to check in early to get ready for the ceremony which was awesome. The ac was cold, view was good and staff was very helpful.

This is NOT a 3-Star hotel! First of all, they had charged us $389.00 for the night, presumably, because there was "an event" in town. Well, there was no event and the hotel was half empty. Arriving at 3PM check-in time, it took appx. 15 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk and check us in. (Apparently, one of the staff was on break) Breakfast consisted of pre-packed one-serving items. Pancakes had been prepared in the kitchen, but were so hard that a plastic knife would not do the job. Although they had a pool, it's a very small pool. The metal components in the pool area, including the water fountains, are covered with rust and highly unsafe to touch. To be fair, the rooms are quiet and clean and they do have a nice, but very expensive (steak = $50-$100) restaurant.

The pillows and bedding were wonderful! I LOVED the balcony...it was perfect! I was there to help my daughter move so ended up staying two nights. The only thing; there was no hand soap anywhere. I had to use the body soap in the shower. Also, the microwave doesn't work. I told a housekeeper on Tuesday and then wrote a note for them on Wednesday when I left. It is room 200.

We tried to check in at 3:00 pm which is what check in is. We had someplace to be and wanted to check in before we went there. We were told the room wouldn't be ready for an hour or 2. An hour later we were able to get the key and the first room wasn't even clean, nothing done, bed not made stuff still lying around. They gave us another room. Room was nice, but they didn't have any hand soap or hardly any toilet paper on the roll and no extra toilet paper. We were told they had no hand soap available and we were told we would have to wait for some toilet paper till later. We went to store and bought our own hand soap. You could not regulate the thermostat to get cool air. My husband tried using the microwave in the morning in the room and it wouldn't work. The food available in the morning was ok. They had honey, but it was old and hard as a rock. We would not recommend this hotel especially for the price we spent on the room. They did not seem very concerned on our complaints.

This couldn’t have been a worse experience. It was highly rated on trip advisor so I thought I would stay there for a business trip. ||Very short staffed, half the time no one was at the front desk. I rang for them but they didn’t appear even then. In the first room, tv didn’t work. I was moved to a second room where the bed was unmade from last guest. No shampoo or conditioner in the shower. No accessories in bathroom, ie not even lotion. Breakfast was really awful unless you like plain bagels, the usual waffle station and other bland breakfast foods (which I don’t). Juice machine broken.||Workout room was tiny with only 1 treadmill, recumbent and stairmaster. Room Smelled awful and was too hot. Room Hadn’t been cleaned in who knows how long. No sanitary wipes so that was a health hazard. I had to walk all the way to the front desk to get cleaner and wipes to wipe down equipment. Workout Room was Out of towels. No water in room. Tv didn’t work initially.||Front desk made a mistake with my credit card so I spent an HOUR of my own time calling my cc company only to find it was the hotel’s mistake. They also screwed up on the final price but at that point, I just wanted out of there. The manager told me that half the staff had quit that past week.||DO NOT STAY HERE.
