Cobblestone Hotel & Suites - Gering / Scottsbluff - Hotel in Gering - 960 M St, USA

Came down from Denver for a funeral. Was woken up at 1:25am after being bit by a bed bug. Had to wake up my 80 yr mother and daughter. Turned on all the lights,went to front desk to speak to manager Valerie. Explained the situation, where I was basically told I brought the bug. Rather than get upset, asked for another room it's 1:30am,and I have a 80yr old mother on a machine,and I had to wake her up check her and her bed. Now I need to unhook her and move her to another room and set her up again. Valerie needs more customers service training. You should never accuse a person in the manner she did. What needs to be done, is clean the room #103,so you don't get issues with next customer. People I talked to said I should have gotten a refund but I was charged full price. And have not heard back from anyone higher up. DON'T stay in room #103.

Very nice room, conveniently located! Easy walking distance to restaurant. Quick and pleasant drive to Scottsbluff National Monument. Mini fridge was not as cool as it should be, but the freezer was great so we could freeze ice packs for our cooler. Very happy to have "continuous fan" option on the room A/C. Much better than some that only cycle completely on and off. | The fan is excellent for white noise as well as air circulation. Breakfast was very good with a nice selection including eggs, potatoes, sausage, Greek yogurt and various other items. Definitely recommend Cobblestone in Gering!

Clean and comfortable hotel. We were impressed with the complementary breakfast selection. Staff we kind and welcoming. Since we were traveling through town we booked since it was a pet friendly listing.

I have managed hotels for a very long time and this hotel should be given 5 stars! From the front office staff, to the housekeeping and breakfast personnel everything was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We were there for our Dads funeral and stayed a week. The pricing was great! When I come home I’ll definitely be staying again! Thank you all so very much!!!

Have stayed in many hotels in the Gering/Scottsbluff area over the years and this hotel is hands down the best value. It’s clean, safe, comfortable, and affordable. Breakfast is included and honestly offers a decent variety of choices. We had to check out early but the front desk agent was super understanding and accommodating of that. We appreciated it greatly. 10/10 customer service.

This hotel was conveniently located right by the civic center which hosted an event we participated in. The staff was professional and friendly. They went out of their way to ensure our room was ready and allowed an early check in. Everything from the lobby to the room was clean and comfortable. The only complaint I have is a slow draining shower...slow enough to leave you standing in about 4-5 inches of water as you showered. Not sure how housekeeping missed it when they cleaned the room. Other than that, it was a nice place, and I would stay there again.

We stayed here during our visit to Scotts Bluff National Monument because the hotel is dog friendly. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet with a nice large refrigerator. The office staff was very friendly and helpful and the lobby had a nice large TV and complementary lemon water and coffee. We didn't use the amenities, but did have a drink in the lounge one night. The alcohol selection was limited but reasonably priced, and they hadn't received a wine delivery recently, so they were out. Once my wife detected a slight sewer odor in the bathroom, but I never noticed it and it never happened again. There were plenty of channels available on the TV, but nothing local or even regional that we could find. The breakfast selection was good, and the main offerings were different the two mornings we were there - different egg and potato types each day, with sausage one morning and biscuits and gravy the other||The hotel is a few minutes drive straight west to the monument, but if you are looking for dinner you have to head north on the main drag right outside the hotel and cross the river into Scottsbluff, which is only a few miles.

Road tripping... landed in Gering and were so very lucky to find a room available at Cobblestone! Far exceeded any expectations- friendly and helpful staff, perfect accommodations, soft linens and comfortable beds, and breakfast with good coffee before we hit the road again! I would absolutely recommend to anyone staying in the area. ||PLUS after the long day of driving, there is a bar/ restaurant right across the street (Union Bar) with good food and also friendly, welcoming service... making that part easy, too.
