Coast River Inn by OYO Seaside - Hotel in Seaside - 800 S Holladay Dr, USA

I was legitimately shocked at how great this place was. I was just looking for cheap accommodations at the beach because we were only going to be there for a basketball tournament not a vacation, but once we checked in it actually was a really nice value add to our weekend. The staff was incredible and friendly. It looked like our room had recently been renovated and indeed the whole property looks like it had a lot of new improvements done in the last year or so. Our room had a nice little kitchenette, which was really nice. You don't really think about the idea of wanting a plate or a bowl until you're already there and it was great to have that handy. The location was close to downtown without being right on top of everyone, close to 101 without having to deal with that traffic, and on a relatively quiet block. The loudest parts of the trip were the seagulls and the wind. We will absolutely stay here again next time we come to Seaside and I recommend it highly.

The room was decorated super cute, comfy bed, and jacuzzi tub was awesome!! A|I loved the hard wood floors. Very clean, I highly recommend. I do suggest bringing your own shampoo and conditioner though.

Stayed here for one night while passing through Seaside - we were in the “River building”, a very short drive away from the reception building. Room was clean (smelled a bit strongly of cleaner but nothing an open window couldn’t fix) and I appreciated they provided stand-up fans as they provided some nice air circulation and white noise. Great water pressure in the shower. I found the room very quiet. The beds were comfy. I could not figure out the TV for the life of me - I took a solid 15min to get it working and then there was no sound no matter what I tried (I’m in my 30s for reference, generally good with tech!) I’d also prefer a deadbolt latch as opposed to just a regular lock. It’s a few blocks away from “downtown” Seaside and maybe a 10min walk to the plaza with the Safeway.

The place was super cute and was a really good location! A couple things to note, the room was really humid, no ac but there is a fan in the room and you can open the windows to help and there is no elevator. The shower was very loud and the water pressure was very rough. The water only stays warm for about 15 minutes but not a problem just plan to take shorter showers. Overall a good place, would stay here again!

Room was spacious and very clean. Close enogh to town to walk. Check in was quick and easy. Housekeeping checked on us the next day to see if they could refresh our towels and give more coffee.

Simply love this hotel. My fiance and I absolutely love the riverview rooms in their secondary building. The balconies/patios overlooking the river are absolutely delightful. Would recommend to anyone. My only complaint is some rooms have a small water heater, so I have to be mindful of my showers. That said, the water pressure is great. Rooms are spacious and always clean.

This was a clean and sparse hotel but a great stay! No conditioner, but oh well! I was pleasantly surprised! Easy checking and not busy. Quiet and near all the things you need. I appreciate it that it was close to restaurants and you could walk anywhere you wanted to go. It was quiet and plenty of parking. Thanks Seaside!!!!

We luckily got a back bldg room so the noise lvl was lower than I expect the main bldg is. Good place to stay with your dog! Hard floors and not much they could destroy. Pet fee was reasonable.
