Coach's Neighborhood Grill Mount Airy - American restaurant in Mt Airy - 458 N Andy Griffith Pkwy, USA

We stopped late Sat night to try Coach's based on a friend's recommendation. The restaurant was packed but we were seated immediately waited on quickly. We were impressed with the ribs and delicious burger. Fast forward to Sunday afternoon when I realized I had left my purse in the booth. I went into panic mode called the restaurant and Beth (the manager), answered the phone. To my relief she had found my purse as we were leaving, she had ran out the door trying to get our attention but we didn't hear her. Beth was amazing, after seeking a description of the purse, she assured me she had locked it in her office safe. We immediately drove to Coach's to get the purse. True to her word every credit card, my driver's license, Medicare cards, debit card and a lot of cash were untouched. We are impressed by Beth's ability to recognize first time customers and knowing exactly where we were siting as crowded as the restaurant was. She had protected my identity, and cash from being stolen so I offered her a reward which she promptly refused and suggested we could repay her by being customers of Coach's. We had already determined we had located our favorite restaurant by the service and delicious food. Thank you Beth for your honesty and great customer service!

Once again, I want to shout praise, where praise is due. Tasha is an amazing server, she always takes wonderful care of our group every time we visit. We always try our best to sit in her section. She is very knowledgeable about the menu, she is always pleasant and welcoming. Tasha is a 10 star employee to your establishment. And in today’s society it is hard to find good staff, so you should consider your company fortunate to have someone like her in your restaurant.

Called in an order today…Monday special…$5 Hamburger and $1 tea. I was there to pick it up, probably 10 minutes before anyone came to the window. My bill was suppose to be $6 plus tax, she told me $9 something. I asked why and explained that I ordered Monday’s special. She said she was brand new and wasn’t aware of that. I smiled and told her that was fine. She came back and told me, the tea was $2.99, so I told her I ordered the special and I would give her the tea, that I had not touched, back to her. She took the tea and started to hand me some coins. I told her I gave her $10. She said oh, wait a minute. Finally, she came to the window and gave me $3.20 and told me to have a good day. I figured that was as good as I was going to do. Another vehicle had pulled up behind me, so I shook my head and left. I paid $6.80 for a $5.35 hamburger, that I had ordered with NO mayo, just to get home and find it covered with mayo…🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ (I’m a pretty regular customer of theirs, especially on Mondays. I just wish a manager or someone that has worked there, more than a day, would have come and straightened it out.)

We really enjoyed your restaurant! Although we got our food to go, the service was outstanding, from the greeting when we walked in to the lovely young lady who took our order. She made sure everything we needed was in the bag- which is something sadly lacking these days- and made sure our food was packaged nicely. We will definitely be back the next time we visit Mt. Airy and will request our server Tasha!

We had our dog and wanted someplace we could bring her. They allow dogs for outdoor dining. It was a windy October day, but we still enjoyed our meal. Great service, waited about 20 minutes to have a server come out, but they were super busy with after church crowd and short staffed. Server was awesome! Food was good and prices average. We were visiting from TN.

Shanon was an amazing server. We're polite and friendly. I would sit in her section again. Plus she's very Beautiful ! And Tracy makes delicious boneless wings 😀

Being completely honest, I believe this was one of the best restaurants I have EVER eaten at. All the food was incredible, from appetizer to dinner. The sampler platter was more than enough for our family, and the entrees were incredible. Out of all the plates we tried, the home run was the chicken and broccoli Alfredo, but everything was awesome. If you're passing by, 10/10 reccomend every time.

Ate at coaches tonight absolutely loved it!!! The waitress, Taylor, was amazing!! Our drinks were always full and she was very attentive. The food came out fast and fresh. The manager checked on us to make sure everything was good we will definately be going back!! 10/10 :)
