Coachman Park - Park in Clearwater - #301, USA

This park is amazing. They just spent millions updating it. They have an auditorium, walking paths both on and off the water, kids play ground, open grass area, benches, and more. It's a great place to walk. If you haven't checked it out yet, you really should.

I attended the Clearwater Jazz holiday event there this past week. It was incredible! The renovation rocks! Real restrooms and a sound system unequal to any I've heard. Phenomenal job. Highly recommend any event there. Even though it was crowded, it never felt crowded. You're able to spread your blanket out and have your own space on the lawn or have a seat if you prefer. Nice selection of food vendors, and overpriced drinks. The free festival on the weekend was a nice addition. Everyone was very respectful. Great crowd. Definitely will look for an opportunity to visit again.

Went to Florida from Texas for the Charley Crockett/Dwight Yoakum concert and it did NOT disappoint! Great sound at this fabulous venue! Was adjacent to water (bay?) in an incredible park-like setting. Many food trucks on site, beer about $10/can, "huge wow" at the gorgeous restrooms!! Kudos to Florida for this venue!!

The Sound is a great venue. The acoustics were awesome. Drawbacks are parking, not enough public handicap parking. Make sure to bring a jacket, windbreaker, or sweater as it is on the water, and the breeze does come through. The staff is pretty good about keeping people out of seats they didn't pay for. Not alot of options for food.

Saw a concert at The Sound. The venue was great. Really a pretty location. Sound was good. Plus, they kept the bathrooms stocked AND … the women’s bathrooms were well designed with plenty of stalls there was basically no line for the women’s restrooms, while the men’s all had lines. Yay.

New and inviting park, with one of the best playgrounds. The change in elevation and surrounding views are very pleasing. Dining options are nearby, making a visit to the park, with lunch or dinner in mind, a good choice.

What an incredible upgrade they've done here! We've lived in the area for 30 years. In fact I have vivid memories of concerts I attended there in the 90s. It has really grown up! Amazing park for the kids, chairs and sandy areas for the parents too! A beautiful splash pad right on the water and tons of smooth sidewalks for biking, skating and more! The Amphitheatre is STUNNING and I can't wait to attend a festival there when the weather cools down later this year! Great job Clearwater!!

Beautiful venue, don't understand why the stage is arranged where it blocks the sunset and the breeze. Overall good experience though. The alcohol prices were outrageous. $12 for a beer. Apparently everyone is paying for the construction of the venue. They need more food trucks only had 3 for the size of the crowd which led to long lines. The music was great but it was incredibly loud. Probably the loudest venue we have been to. Even the guest services had ear plugs for everyone. Not sure how the residents of Clearwater feel about the noise levels. The place is new so we can chalk this all upto learning experiences hopefully they take the advice going forward.
