CM Korean Fried Chicken of Lincoln Park Chicago 충만 치킨 - Korean restaurant in Chicago - 2439 N Clark St, USA

Got the honey garlic wings and tteokbokki. Both were a 5/5. The wings here aren’t your average sports bar wings. They are giant and sooo juicy. The honey garlic sauce was addictive and not overly sweet. I was a little skeptical to try the tteokbokki bc most of the time it tastes better homemade. It was surprisingly delicious - only wished they added some veggies to add crunch. The portion size was very generous too. They gave me a big cup of picked radish which was a bonus!

A nice variety of chicken dishes alongside traditional Korean street food like TTEOKBOKKI. I got the snow onion chicken tenders, and while it was flavorful and the chicken was cooked perfectly, the breading on the chicken could use something extra. I'll be going back to try the spicier chicken, and would suggest this place due to the unique flavors and styles of chicken dishes.

The food is very pricey. I paid $40 + tip for 18 wings. I think this is the cost of eating fried chicken in Lincoln Park. As for the food, the fried chicken is good. Nothing gourmet, just good. The chicken with onion tower on it, is just waste of money. They are basically piling white onions on plain fried chicken, that does not do anything for the taste; it is just a good visual and looks fancy. The cheese monster flavor was interesting, it tastes just like any cheddar flavored puff snack or chips. This might be good for kids who does not like chicken. Overall it was OK but i do not think I will go again due to price.

We got the garlic soy and spicy garlic fried half chicken. The outside was perfectly fried and crisp while the inside was juicy and tender. The pickled radish that you get on the side is also great and pairs perfectly. It’s one of the best Korean fried chicken we’ve had in a long time. We ordered takeout but next time we’ll have to dine in and enjoy with some of their beers 😊

So thankful CM finally open a location in the city! This is hands down my favorite Korean fried chicken place. My go to is snow chicken! It was amazingggg and definitely coming back

The cheese sticks were perfect. The calamari was terrible, it was like biting a sandal. It was too thin and very tough. Definitely overcooked.

Let’s start with what I liked. I like the people, the servers, and the atmosphere. After that I just don’t even know how to put into words my dislike. The chicken (honey garlic) was so sweet it made me sick. There was sticky sweet sauce drenching our wings. Now I’m all for sauce but this was like a ton of honey and not a whole lot of anything else. I’ve been to other Korean BBQ wing places and this by far was the least appetizing. It’s like they’re trying to appeal to kids and not adults. Which maybe they are. I mean there isn’t a school that far away.

Great crispy chicken wings. Service was excellent. Not really a big draw back but this location didn’t have the pickled radishes like the others.
