This Korean fried chicken restaurant deserves a solid 5-star rating. I was impressed with the lively atmosphere, they always have K-pop videos/songs playing in the background, and a variety of flavorful chicken options. The crispy exterior and juicy meat were highlights, along with the tasty side of pickled radish. Generous portions but also very pricey make it a must-visit for fried chicken enthusiasts. But hands down one of the best Korean restaurants in the area. I ordered the spicy chicken dish. It is very tasty but the heat really creeps up on you and goes straight to your stomach. I would recommend their original fried chicken without any sauce on it, which is nice, flavorful and crispy.

The chicken was really good and spicy! The price may sound high but for the quality of chicken. It is worth it. Now those Korean corn dogs….BOOOOO THEY SUCK! Whatever cheese they use is disgusting and the batter taste weird. I was hoping for better because I love the corn dogs but disappointed ☹️

My first Korean Fried Chicken in STL area! This was so good! The fried chicken is extra crispy as Korean Fried Chicken should be. The spicy sweet sauce was delicious. The meat was hot and juicy. Our mozza hotdog was very tasty as well. The sidedish of raddish was very flavorful and great after a hot bite of chicken. The ambience is just right for an east Asian diner. Korean Fried Chicken was a comfort food for me when I lived in Asia and this place checked the boxes for my nostalgia. I thought the prices were just a little bit high, but it will not detour me from having it again. Go eat this. Will it make your heart strong and powerful? Probably not. But it will make it full and happy.

We were very disappointed in our experience here. The name by nature is misleading, with Hotdog in the business name you’d expect to be able to order a hotdog but if that’s what you’re looking for don’t waste your time. What is served are corndog-esque creations. I ordered a “new” item on their menu which was a Potato Mozzarella Sausage Hotdog, expecting to get a sausage coated in cheese wrapped in a coating of potato chunks was the expectation based on the name and a “demo” item they had displayed on the counter. Vastly disappointed after receiving it, what I did receive was a stick with 2 chunks of what seemed to be hotdog, not a full sausage or even full hotdog. It had runny cheese (not stringy mozzarella type cheese) covering it wrapped in potato chunks. The display item showed a pretty good size sausage and appeared it would be a full stick of meat not just 2 small chunks. Horribly miscommunication in the marketing, to top it off it was bland and definitely not something to order again. Along with the fact when addressed with a worker there all I got was “sorry you’re disappointed, that’s what we sell”. My wife ordered a Mozzarella stick which seemed to be actual mozzarella this time. But again bland and disappointing. My kiddos had the Premium Hotdog, again not a normal hotdog you would order but more of a corn dog that had a bland coating not to mention for the price the hotdog was tiny. I ordered chicken tenders in Spicy Garlic flavor as well. This was the only item I remotely enjoyed but $19 for 5 chicken tenders and no side is way past overpriced for what was delivered being chicken strips with sauce poured over them, again misrepresented in their marketing on the menu. Needless to say this isn’t an establishment I’d recommend. Makes me extremely disappointed because I saw social media marketing that made me want to try it out, once again something that didn’t live up to its social media hype. ☹️

CM Chicken & Ssong’s Hotdogs is one of the best Korean fried chicken restaurants I have had in St Louis. The service is very quick, however, the servers struggle in understanding your order right away. For instance, we wanted a plate of garlic soy chicken tenders and a plate of red-hot pepper chicken tenders. They straight up refused giving us two orders of chicken tenders. I don’t know why was there any confusion to begin with nonetheless, we just placed an order for half chicken with two different sauces. The garlic soy was stellar and the red-hot pepper may get spicy for those who are not acquainted with the flavor, but it is very good. The potato mozzarella stick isn’t our favorite because once it gets cold the cheese is just a blob of fat and the potato is very chewy and has no crispness. This place needs more recognition for sure because they have fantastic fried chicken at good prices. The restaurant has several sauces that pair really well with your fried chicken that work well when paired with the hotdogs too. The service is friendly, quick, and the ambiance is very vibrant and has a super chic appeal to it. If you were visiting South Korea, I am sure this is what a typical café would look like and serve. The only drawback I see is that they don’t offer more than one sauce for your order. This can be quite annoying especially when you are willing to buy more than a plate of tenders/wings/half chicken etc. I would also like to add that the half chicken doesn’t have enough meat and it ends up being far more bony and tenders definitely are more value for price especially when you see half chicken and tenders are the exact same price.

If you’re looking for tasty korean fried chicken look no further. A quick little shop with cool decorations, good music and good food. We ordered out chicken and received our food in under 10 minutes. It was delicious and as we were eating we were planning our next trip back.

Food was very good. I ordered the spicy garlic tenders and the potato mozzarella sausage corn dog. They told us the tenders came with 5 peices but is seemed like more. Very filling. Best korean fried chicken I've had in st louis.

Took my son here for his 13th bday lunch. We ordered the corn dogs with cheese and the ones with cheese and sausage. We also ordered the Garlic Soy chicken tenders. The tenders were 19 bucks but let me tell you it was very much worth the price. You even get plastic gloves to eat them with!!! The corn dogs were potato battered and deep fried. The cheese was pure gooey goodness the moment you bite into it. My only little gripe was that I needed a little salt for the corn dog. Overall this place is fantastic and I will be going back again to try all the things.
