I was exploring Keystone Heights, and came across Clyde's Cozy Corner. When I entered, I was almost immediately seated. I ordered the Reuben sandwich, with seasoned potatoes. They don't serve fries for some reason, but the potatoes were good! I highly recommend the Reuben. For such a tiny place, they have really good food! There's even outside tables to eat at. The service was good, and prices were okay. Recommend that you try Clyde's, even if you are just passing through.

We stopped here for lunch after our ride on the nearby Palatka to Lake Butler paved trail! The food was great and it was big portions. I really felt like we got our moneys worth. I was also cooked to order, you could see them preparing it in the kitchen. LuLu had the patty melt, I had the Philly cheese steak sub. It was 93° outside it could’ve been a tad cooler inside but it was OK. Like I said we just got done riding our bikes 16 miles on the trail. We will be back!!

We just went for breakfast at Clyde's Cozy Corner Cafe and after we all ate and paid the owner came and rudely told me my toddlers needed shoes and I tried to explain that the toddlers are autistic and have sensory and the owner said “then don’t come back ever” and walked away. We were going to ask if they could be carried to the table or if we could move the outside tables together next time so we could still enjoy breakfasts here but the owner walked away and after snapping at me. I also asked her/him to please talk to me kindly and communicate especially in front of our kids. 10:10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. The waitress however was phenomenal and so was the cashier 🙏 after spending $80 the owner dismissed having a conversation with me about the issue at hand and has no regards for my autistic toddler.

Update. We were out thrifting in our local area and decided to try Clyde's Cafe again. We shared a Reuben Sandwich, chips and the yummy spicy pickles. I would call this lunch OK. The corned beef was thickly sliced and although it was tender we agreed that we prefer it to be shaved or thinly sliced. I would have preferred more Thousand Island dressing on it but that's on me for not asking. We are also not fans of bagged kettle chips, we should have ordered the potato salad or Cole slaw. The pickles were delicious. Service was great. Update. Well today was our second visit to Clyde's and it didn't turn out as well as the first visit. We shared the double decker club with cornbread salad and spicy bread and butter pickles. The club was packed high with ham, turkey, American cheese, lettuce and tomato and bacon but it had a smidge of mayo which made the toasted sandwich very dry. Our waitress served our order and never returned so we ate the dry sandwich. The cornbread salad was overly sweet and the flavor was just not to our liking. Also, Hubs coke was a little bit flat. Not our best meal. My stars rating reflects our current satisfaction. That won't stop us from trying other dishes and we need to be more outspoken with our requests. Although the interior of the cafe is underwhelming the food and service were excellent. It's a very small cafe with a few tables of varying sizes and outdated decor, it could use a remodel but it was not an uncomfortable atmosphere. Our waitress was quick to arrive and very friendly and attentive throughout our meal. I ordered the seafood chowder, a garden salad and water. Hub ordered the Reuben sandwich, chips and a soda. The food is made to order and was served in a reasonable amount of time. The most surprising and satisfying part was the flavor of the meal. I actually had that wow moment with the first taste of my soup. It was creamy and delicious. My cup was filled with a generous portion of shrimp and crab and potato and corn. The salad was one of the best side salads I have had, like something I would make at home. It had a good amount of lettuce, tomato, diced red and yellow peppers and onion. I normally don't like raw onion in a salad but this was sweet enough to eat on its own. It reminded me of strawberry onions from Plant City, Florida. I tasted hubs Reuben and it was delicious also. It had a generous amount of meat and sauerkraut with the right amount of sauce. He was also given a little side cup of spicy butter pickles that were quite addictive in their sweet heat combination of flavor. They reminded me of Wickles pickles but better. If they don't sell those by the jar, they should. I hope that we have found our new favorite local lunch spot. We will definitely be going back to try other items on the menu.

Stopped in while traveling on New Years Eve (2023) and we're glad we did!!!. One of the BEST breakfast we've had!!! OMGOOSH.... I got the seasoned potatoes and I ended up ordering another one. Ya...it was that good. I also got biscuits and gravy...the biscuits is sooo moist, words can't describe it. The grits...we love grits ..now this is our favorite grits from any other places. COFFEE...was also pleasantly good too. I wish I knew the brand and where they got it...lol. Egg was PERFECTLY cooked. Everything that we had was a 11 out of a 10. The two ladies server was very friendly and stayed on top of everything. We will definitely stop here again when we go to Tampa from Jacksonville. Cute little quaint cafe. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!

My family and I were staying in Hawthorne for the weekend, and decided to try Clyde's for breakfast. We are so glad that we did. Just like the name, it's a cozy corner cafe. Breakfast was amazingly delicious, great value and Excellent service. My son devoured his pecan waffle. The sausage patties are yummy and definitely homemade. My husband enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. I couldn't make up my mind on which eggs benedict to order and was so happy to have the option to order individual servings of each. Both were delicious, and I liked the eggs florentine the best. Highly recommend!

Delicious omelette with vegetables caramelized the way they should be. Outstanding! A thing of beauty!!! I like that toast and potatoes are offered but not included in the price of the omelette as my husband and I are following a ketogenic diet. Service was excellent even though there was 1 server on duty. She rocked it! Tuesday April 5, 2022 about 10 AM. We’ll be back!
