Club Wyndham Resort at Avon - Featured Reviews (567)
The units are absolutely gorgeous! Very spacious and extremely clean. The resort and a very large hot tub. It also had foosball and a pool table that were free to use. The location is great too, you can leave you car parked at the resort and walk to dinner and all the shops. The valet parking was expensive at $45 a day, but the people who did the valet parking were very attentive and quick. I would definitely recommend this place and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
We are Wyndham timeshare owners and this is the type of resort we signed up for. No high pressure sales, beautiful spacious rooms, easy elevator access, and close to everything the valley has to offer. The Valet parking is $45 per day, which is expensive, but the same as all the other places nearby. With that high of a cost we expected great service, but it was 50/50. 2 of the valets were amazing. Very quick with cars moving in and out, good interactions, remembered my name and engaged in multiple conversations about the area. One of them was the supervisor and the other was a part time night guy. The other valets were nonexistent. Multiple times we arrived to a full parking lot with the valet found inside talking to staff or sitting on their phone. For $45, please at least move and clear cars. Everything else about the Club Wyndham Resort at Avon is awesome and we highly recommend it. We booked a 2 bedroom unit for an end of summer getaway. I had researched the floor plan of the 2 bedroom units; but, when we arrived the 1st floor corner unit we were given was completely different. The living area was cramped and the unit was only feet from a busy road with busses and trucks passing by every few minutes. No rest here. Also beware... $45 per day parking and no pool.
Very nice resort. Close to a park with a small lake, pickleball courts, and restaurants. Units are well furnished. Washer and dryer in units. Well appointed kitchen. 3 TVs. Nice bedding. This is our second time here. Hope to come back next summer.
Great place to stay, very comfortable, clean, high end. As Wyndham owners we pay already a lot Plus monthly fees, then to have to pay $49/day for valet, which we didn't want or need was infuriating. We wished there was an on-site bar or restaurant. Everything was in walking distance though.
The rooms are spacious, clean, and modern. The staff is pleasant and helpful. The only down side is there is no parking other than valet for which there is a heafty daily charge.
I had 14 family members at the resort. Our outgoing flights were cancelled and SOME of us had to stay over a day. They had a smaller room, but could not give it to us without going through our timeshare. The timeshare couldn't give it to us because it was not available to them in inventory. I spoke to the first one and then another person and was not having any luck. David Solano, the rooms manager came to our rescue. We had to move to a one-bedroom deluxe, but that was fine. He went over and above his duty and what was required of him. We appreciated his help. It took me this long to place this review, because my father died during our trip. I had honestly forgotten, even though I promised him I would do it. Avon is pretty much the best, classiest Wyndham Resort that we have stayed in. We have been members since the old Fairfield days, so that's a lot of stays. It could not have gotten any better, was a wonderful, friendly, helpful staff! Do yourself a favor and stay here. We will be back.
I stayed here at the end of April after a long weekend in Denver. We were greeted by the friendliest Concierge I've had the pleasure of meeting, Victoria. Not only did she get us checked in fast, and gave great recommendations on what to do and where to eat but the room and view couldn't have been better. The thing that topped this all off and would 100% earn my future business again is that she made a very thoughtful gift basket for my daughters very first out of state vacation. She got her ALL OF HER FAVORITE THINGS, I hope you know you picked a perfect basket Victoria she couldn't stop saying all night "apple (=orange), cookies, chocolate" You made her whole vacation better after falling several times on hikes. Thanks Victoria!
