Cloverfield started as a pipe dream in 2018 when the Cramer Family found this hidden gem. The 1900s farmhouse and guest cottages had been completely abandoned for over 10 years when the Cramers saw the property and immediately fell in love with it. Everyone told them they were crazy, but they knew they could restore the property and bring the beautiful property back from the brink. They took a little over a year to work in it, day in and day out. But with a lot of hard work, determination and a few of Lauren's tears they did it! Cloverfield started welcoming guests in 2019. You too can enjoy the privacy of this exclusive private venue in Southern Pines. The two guest cottages and grounds are yours to enjoy!

We stayed on the property for a month while we were waiting for housing and relocating to the area. We stayed in both the cottage and the ranch house. Both houses are well equipped for relaxing and so beautiful! The homes were clean and the beds were very comfortable. We felt safe on the property and my kids loved riding their bikes down the long driveway. I loved the proximity to local Parks and nature preserves. Most importantly, our host Lauren was incredibly helpful and accommodating. She was wonderfully hospitable and ensured our family had the best stay possible, even in transition. Thank you Lauren!!
My mother in law stayed in the cottage over Christmas from out of state and we joined for Christmas Day. Very cute house, everything is decorated so nice. Nice and cozy. The hosts are very personable and there for anything you may need. Nice, quiet getaway. Would definitely stay here again !
The hostess was absolutely phenomenal to work with and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Lauren again. 5 out of 5 stars, highly recommend!
We had an amazing time at the Cottage, it is a beautiful quit neighborhood. The bbq area was so well used by us. We really didn't want to leave, we are already planning to go back. Thank you so much for having us. Amazing and excellent place to stay. We loved it!!!!
Need a nice and quiet place to stay well what can I tell you these two amazing houses here are two of the most nice and clean and organize house. You can stay at the area quiet and really nice. The owners of this property are one-of-a-kind. They understand everything you need and they are really nice to talk to you are you trying to get away and a quiet place to relax and get away for a little bit? This is the place to go.
Man this place is cool! The barn is as magnificent and unique of a place as I've ever stayed in. Super cool theater setup perfect for movies, sports or anything else you could want to watch. The entire experience was beautiful and relaxing, the hosts provided plenty of amenities and everything was well stocked and clean. Highly recommend! I hope to visit again soon!
I stayed at this place a while back over Labor Day weekend. It's very comfortable and spacious. Comes fully furnished. Also the owners got a sweet large theater setup to watch movies, sports, or your shows. The screen goes through a projector to a canvas and comes with great audio.
My family and I have had the pleasure of staying at both The Barn and The Cottage at Cloverfield several times. Both spots are unique in their own right and offer something different depending on what you're looking for. What keeps bringing us back to Cloverfield is the hosts' hospitality and the superior comfort at both sites. I love that we don't have to bother Lauren when we're there. Everything you need to know is perfectly laid out for you either ahead of time on their website, or around the home once you're there. And if nothing else, just go to sleep in their beds! The loft in The Barn (and the beds in the Cottage) has one of the most comfortable mattresses I've ever slept on. Please visit Cloverfield and see for yourself!

Great place to eat. Went here on a date with my wife and we had a blast. Waitress is personable and even a bit cheeky, food is excellent, atmosphere is quaint and romantic. Just a great spot.
Great place for a tasty and enjoyable lunch. The half a sandwich is just the right size. The food is served piping hot and very flavorful. If you get chip they are very crispy and packed with flavor, for a brand I have never seen. Setting is limited
If you are looking for a safe place to ride, this is it! Safe, open trails where you can ride two or three deep, no rocks and little streams and jumps to challenge yourself and your horse. Mostly shaded so you aren't in the heat. Highly recommend!
Food was great! All the tacos I tried were great, staff inside were very friendly. Couple picnic tables by the truck would make eating easier but it's a great spot!
The rooms are dated but but warm cozy and clean. The shower was excellent. Dinner was very good with a golf course and bar atmosphere. Golf course is very nice and playable.
