First off, the macaroni and cheese was amazing. I got it with carnitas and my wife got it with bacon. This bacon was not just a little bit, but at least 3 or 4 pieces chopped up and served with a side. The beer is amazing, the seasonal rotations are worth the wait. Try the Earl gray stout... I know, I know sounds strange but let me tell you. It is not over powering, the bergamot is just right and the hops are perfectly suited to the flavor. They currently at time of writing (1-17-24) have 4 versions of their Russian Imperial stout. Try it! I will be back to sample the rest.
I’m not a beer drinker- I know, don’t shame me- but we went here after getting our nails done in the same plaza. Johnny was rad and gave the BEST food recs. We split the burger and made our fries blue cheese gravy and bacon topped- they did not disappoint. Super excited about the amount of gluten free options for my husband. And they had a great cider. We also had two tacos (carnitas and the no-meat option) and we are big meat eaters- but it was suggested so we gave it a go and so glad we did. It was right on point! Happy to have this place within walking distance of our new home!
Server Michael was a highlight of the visit as he was a genuine cool dude with a great sense of humor and sass - both needed behind the bar at a brewery... Another bar patron gave me an amazing beer review and her comments were spot-on! Looking for just small food with my beers and the tomato bisque was a great starter but the Goat/Sheep cheese skewers with huckleberries/sauce were AMAZING... Never had anything quite like them now I gotta figure out how to make them. Had hoped to make a 2nd visit but time didn't allow... Will go back whenever I get back to Boise!
Service is fast, friendly and comfortable. Outdoor sitting is clean, and pet friendly! Inside is open, the feeling you get before even talking to someone is very welcoming. One of those places where, if you come by yourself, you don’t feel awkward! Now let’s get down to the food and drinks…. WOW, everything I’ve tried so far is fresh, and amazingly good. They have house specials daily! Just ask the bartender/ server what specials are going on for the day. I recommend this place if you are wanting something that isn’t to crazy with a 5 page menu and millions of options. It’s a great place to go! You aren’t waiting forever to get your food either!
Went mostly because my wife wanted the apple pecan salad. Can't say she was disappointed. We'll go back just for that. Chips and salsa, were excellent. I got street tacos. The tempe were great, glad I ordered two, but the beet version was very bitter and I wouldn't order it again. My root beer was good, but not the style a like; very strong black licorice/sarsparilla taste. Fairly busy, but not too noisy. Fries are good, but not crispy. I'm guessing they don't soak, or blanch, them before frying. Decent beer selection. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Great food, great service even though they were very busy. Great selection of nano brews, something for everyone. Barleywines, several IPA, and the Honey Basil were all very good.
Love that they have gluten free options for those that need them. The food is delicious and there's a variety of drinks to choose from. Nice patio seating when the weather allows for it!
Cloud 9 is always a neighborhood favorite but I think this little gem deserves critical acclaim. The best cooked piece of salmon I’ve ever had was turned out from their kitchen with a risotto on daily special. We’ve never had a disappointing meal and the seasonal beers are always an interesting addition to the house staples (We really love the amber and the honey basil). The service is always stand-out. Triton recently helped me host an open house for my real estate clients during the holiday season and just went complete above and beyond; in his graciousness and making me feel welcome for bringing my business to Cloud 9. Even when we just stop by for lunch, he always makes us feel like we are among their favorite regulars. Be sure to support this amazing small business that really adds to the feel of what makes Boise special.
Great food and very friendly staff. We came with our dog and they accommodated us very well out on the patio and brought him his own water bowl too. The food we had was all great. It's neat to have a place so close where we can get to try handmade au
Absolutely our favorite coffee shop and bakery in Boise! So many items to choose from for dine in or take out (bowls, breakfast sandwiches, baked goods galore) and prepared foods (lasagnas, pot pies, burritos, salads, etc) for dinner. Some of our fav
Americana Pizza has the best New York Style Pizza in town! There location is tucked on the corner next to the Rhodes Skate Park with a small parking area to pickup. Donât let there location fool you. We ordered the 18â build your own pizza with
Love that we stumbled across this bakery off of 30th Street in Boise. Cute decor and comfortable indoor seating. Limited patio seating-we brought our pup and enjoyed coffee and breakfast outside. If you love freshly made pastries - do yourself a fa
Was visiting Boise for a Botany conference and tried Bao Boi which was right across the Boise Centre. The food was fantastic and the word clearly spread throughout the conference attendees. The bao is soft and fluffy with a great combination of sauce
Best quesabirria tacos! This was my first time coming here and definitely not the last. The birria was SUPER flavorful and the consome was the cherry on top. I purchased a birria quesadilla for my daughter, she is very picky, and she ate almost all o
After a great day of checking out a museum I had to have a butterscotch shake. My stepdad took me to this really cool drive-in place. It was cool and they had an 899 special for Thursday. That was a chicken sandwich at the spicy version and I had to
The staff were super friendly, as soon as we walked in they told us where to start getting our food. It's a dine in or take out. You pick from a buffet and add your food to the bowl, then give it to the cooks and they cook it right in front of you. A
This is a top-notch, authentic Italian restaurant. The food was outstanding, as was the service and atmosphere. I ordered the special, a northern cream dish with mascarpone sauce, mushrooms, pistachio nuts and sirloin. It was delicious. The family al
We planned to stop in Boise on our drive from Seattle to Salt Lake City. We loved the Boise Guesthouse so much we returned a week later on our way home. On our first visit, we stayed in the Animal Studio, and on our second we stayed in the Travel Su
My compliments to the chef. This food was so fresh and delicious. The taste was perfectly balanced and pleasing to all the senses. It was light, rich and flavorful. Iâm very particular about the quality of my food and I donât have a single compla
Beautiful park area - I don't care for the narration boxes that much but the quotes on the walls are very moving. Lovely water features and very calming. It's right on the green belt, so it gets a lot of traffic.
Seriously the best empanadas! The crust is so buttery and yummy and the fillings are flavorful. I need to try more flavors, but recently I tried the Gaucho and the cheeseburger. Both were great, gaucho was my favorite!
After a very long flight to Boise from Florida this place was a refreshing landing spot and the perfect place to introduce us to the Boise craft beer scene. Boise is such a clean city and this place site on such a huge corner lot where it was bright
Is this one of the pricier bars in Boise? 100% But does that keep you from enjoying an AWESOME array of cocktails to please any pallette? No way. Really nice spot for an intimate drink after dinner
Love it never been here before very nice my girls just loved walking around and seeing some of the animals like the fish. All my kiddo kept talking about is wanting to see a sturgeon lol not sure if they have them there or not. Nice outing for family
We ordered a German sausage and a Panini House. Both came with a small milk chocolate on the side, and a bag of Lay's chips. A simple yet delicious lunch at very fair prices and just what we needed on this hot Boise day. I finished the meal with Turk
Great speak easy in down town Boise. Donât be afraid to go through the curtains. Whatâs on the other side is a bar that feels like cheers, everyone knows your name m, unless itâs your first time. If itâs around Christmas make sure you get the
