Positive: They rented out its back parking lot to a landscaping company that started using a very loud wood chipper at 7:00 AM! It reminded me of "The Overlook Hotel" from "The Shining". Stuck fast in the late 50's, early 60's. Not even free coffee in the AM! Negative: This place needs new everything. The air conditioners in all the rooms had box fans running to push the cooled air through the room because the main unit, which, unbelievably, sat on top a semi-trailer with huge hoses leading to a hole in the hotel wall

not terrible for me I guess. getting to be an older place and it smells kinda like old hotel but I guess for me personally that's part of the experience. I went here when I was 24 with my 22 year old friend. the front desk lady looked at us for a sec like she didn't believe we were adults .. which was kinda annoying. like ummm lady, how many piles of kids in trenchcoats come walking into your lobby trying to book a room?! does it happen on a regular basis or something??? a little respect for guests goes a long way..!! the room was nice for me at least tho

The hotel is maintained well. Rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable. The only issue I had is that unlike most major hotels this location doesn’t offer complimentary travel items like toothpaste & tooth brush if you forgot yours. You have to buy everything.

Nice large room that was comfortable with the added nice touch of floral folded towels in the bathroom. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room price was a good value. I'll be back.

Outdated, shower not working and not worth the money (absolutely do not consider for wedding guests!) We were here for a wedding. The sheets were ripped when we arrived, we called reception and they changed the person changed them ignored us and was rude. After returning from the wedding we wanted to shower but the shower head was not working. We called reception around 12pm and they had someone check it out but they didn't do anything about it. It was basically "sorry for the inconvenience but nothing we can do" - so here we are sweaty from dancing at the wedding at midnight. Overall very dated rooms, wallpaper partly fixed with tape, old TV with non-working control, shower-head not working. If you are hosting a wedding, definitely stay away from this one.

I stayed here a few times for work and for pleasure. This is a big hotel with event center and hotel rooms. The rooms are nice and comfortable. There was a washer and dryer onsite which helped as we stayed a few days in this location. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel which takes you in to NYC and the other side of the street you get off the bus from NYC. Convenient location and lots of parking on site for your vehicle.

I stayed at this hotel several days a week through the late 90s was a great place to stay back then. Needed a room for a few nights and book there. They rented rooms without a working heating system anywhere in the hotel. Their solution was to give me a portable heater and tell me if it warm out tomorrow. Wallpaper peeling,sheets had a sour smell to them. I can’t remember a hotel stay worse than this. Facility is dated dirty and in need of repairs.

A historic hotel in "dowtown" Tenafly. The service is 5 star. The rooms have the most comfortable beds. Ive had 5 back surgeries and not one night did i wake up achey. The blackout shades are literwlly blackout, and new paragraph here The showers water pressure is beyond impressive. We gave my two toddlers baths. The staff set up a pack and play for the youngest at no addl charge. I was able to do work while they wayched TV on a 40 inch flat screen. The staff here will go above and beyond. And they are updating each part of the hotel little by little. So, while it still needs work, they know and are putting money into it.
