Nice trail that is well marked and difficult enough to get a decent workout but nothing crazy. There is an east and west trail each around 1.5 miles and the total is around 3. What is great is that it is only two miles from hwy 25–we were driving from Albuquerque to Denver and this is a great mid trip stop to loosen up the legs and get some air. Nice views and interesting story on the trail sign about the geologic history.
East loop 1.5 miles and west loop 1.4. Nice 2.9 mile hike of both loops. Great view at the top of the west loop. Spring is muddy with a fair amount of snow left on the trails, so plan accordingly.
Great trails for a quick hike. Just walk up the road a bit from the parking and you will find a trail head marker with maps and other info. One large outer loop, or two smaller loop options.
This place is so Awesome!!! beautiful hike that is just long enough. Not to long or to short. If you wanna have a great walk and enjoy so natural beauty, this is the place.
I didn't get eaten to hell by bears, cougars or rattlesnakes as was promised on the alarming signs that said to arm myself with sticks, rocks or slower children
What a beautiful place.. you can find peace and enjoy nature.. I love it 💕

Lovely little coffee shop that I stopped by on the way to Colorado. Excellent coffee, it's smooth and creamy. Very chill and relaxing atmosphere, especially with the mountains to look at outside.

Old dude and i lost my phone in a snow storm. Felicia took lots of time and patience (2+hours) to set up my new phone. Very polite. Very professional. She deserves a medal. Its hard because most small towns are indirect distributors for verizon and

The pool looked great but I did not come to swim. I was here to shower. I had camped overnight at nearby Sugarite Canyon S.P. Due to water shortage, they had no water at campsites & showerhouse was closed. But the Park Host informed me you could show

I left Colorado over the mountains to this very busy campground for 4 nights and added 2 months to my stay. This place was so convenient to go grocery shopping at the small shopping center within easy walking distance. Located in a nice area. Close t

What makes it so amazing is the people.
The owners are the nicest people youâll ever meet.
We ended up sitting on the front porch and visiting for quite awhile.
