Clifton House - Bed & breakfast in Cincinnati - 500 Terrace Ave, USA

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Clifton house. Our host went above and beyond in several ways. She insisted we bring our expensive tandem bicycle into her kitchen for security. She gave us great advice about local restaurants. She shared her experiences and listened to ours. We had great conversations with her and with the other guests. The house itself is a lovely old home with large spacious places. We slept well on the comfortable bed. The walls are decorated by beautiful paintings by a local artist. Her breakfasts were wonderfully prepared and presented. Our main interest in visiting Cincinnati after riding our tandem on the Little Miami Trai, was to visit the wonderful Zoo and Botanical Garden which was only a little over a mile's walk from the house. During our visit, we also attended a jazz concert featuring Robert Glasper at the famous Ludlow Garage which was only a few blocks away.

we has a wonderful stay at this B & B. It is a great old home in a neighborhood full of them. the rooms are clean and comfortable. The wrap around porch is large and very nice to sit on. We spent most evenings talking with a glass of wine and recapping our day and planning the next. The hostess, Nancy does a great job! She always has a story and the history of where we went she is so knowledgeable about the area and fun to listen to. she has treats available in the kitchen as well as wines available 🍷 The breakfasts were so good best I've had in a B &B. there is a nice area 2 blocks from the B & B with restaurants small shops we would definitely recommend this place |we also took a bus tour of the city it was very nice. Drove around the area looking at some of the amazing homes and through the Spring Grove cemetery it is filled with huge markers also the art gallery of Cincinnati was worth a trip

Nancy is a magnificent host. The guests, she, and my boyfriend and I had wonderful conversations each morning. We still talk about our visit and the people we met. I have been to a great many B&Bs here and abroad and besides a great room, you have to have a great host. She had a lovely room, a hearty breakfast and an amazing personality.

Lovely B&B in close proximity to restaurants/bars in the Clifton neighborhood. Nancy is a terrific host. Don’t miss the amazing freshly prepared breakfast!

My husband and I have stayed at the Clifton House a few times and totally enjoyed each visit. The B&B has accommodated a variety of guest including actors, musicians, authors, and just ordinary people like ourselves. The breakfast has always been delicious, the house is very neat and clean, the beds are comfortable and the owner (Nancy) is so gracious. We will definitely return to this lovely home and neighborhood!

Nancy, the host was absolutely amazing. Before arriving she texted us to let us know where to park, and accommodated our early arrival with ease. She had fresh baked little goodies for us in the kitchen that were delicious. Breakfast was out of this world. The French toast and sauce was to die for. Sitting down and having a meal with people you've never met was such a cool experience as well. The cottage was so cozy, inviting and clean, the jacuzzi tub was also fantastic. My husband and I had never stayed in a Bed & Breakfast and this was bar far the best first experience we could have had. I highly recommend the Clifton House and look forward to staying here again!

Absolutely lovely!!! The place was beautiful and comfortable and was pleasantly surprised with the breakfast made by culinary student chefs from the university!! We had amazing steak and eggs one morning and French toast the second. Nancy was a lovely host and made sure we had everything we needed, including some afternoon wine! Would definitely stay here again anytime I’m coming to Cincinnati.

Nancy was a gracious host with the most interesting stories about the history of the house and the locale. She also put on a sumptuous breakfast! A great place to stay. We will certainly return!
