A hidden gem off Brownsboro in the Clifton Heights area. Easily one of the top five donut shops in all of Louisville. The donuts are light and airy without being greasy. Lots of fun flavors and they add the filling right then and there when you order. Great donuts, great service. Highly recommend!
In addition to the donuts, the breakfast sandwiches are also great. The last time I was there they made fresh coffee while I waited. I recommend all of it.
I am having trouble being objective about this because the donuts are so good! I like to think I have tried some of the best donuts in the world after traveling all over it. We always search for something local and when we found Clifton, we knew we had found some place special! We kind of judge a place on their ability to make an apple fritter. This is on my top three list in the world! Every single donut we ate was fantastic and their coffee was even good. We can't wait to get back again!
The donuts, donut holes, croissants (made in-house), and breakfast sandwich changed my life. From CA to KY these are the best donuts of my life. They would be the dessert of my Last Meal. Maybe the whole thing. Very reasonably priced. Family owned & the staff are so pleasant and helpful. If you're looking for low quality, expensive, pretentious donuts- this is not the place for you. If you want the best donuts in town, made with love, get here early. They run out for a reason- they're the only reason I get out of bed early. Thank you Clifton Donuts!!
Wonderful, fresh, soft, and balanced donuts. Such a wonderful staple of this neighborhood. Customer Service is so friendly and accommodating. Will be hard to stay away from here! 😊
This place is amazing. Every donut we tried was perfectly sweet and soft and insane. I’d definitely recommend the lemon curd filled donuts because that lemon curd is incredible.
Really good doughnuts and relativy inexpensive. Only reason for 3 stars is that at 6:10 am, they hardly had anything out in the display case. When I asked how long it would be for filled doughnuts, they told me 30 minutes. I don't understand why if they opened at 5:30 am, hardly anything was available.
So good!!!! My favorite place to get donuts. Best old fashion donuts.
