Wow! what an unexpected wonderful time at the Clifford House. We stayed in the apartment by sheer luck due to a cancellation 20 minutes before I called. Jim was kind enough to let the room for one night even though there is a 2 night min. CrowdStrike affected mine and my daughter's travel plans and this was a last minute change. Jim is full of great stories and seems to be the neighborhood guardian - along with Connie and Henry. The beds were both super comfy and the apartment was well-equipped with everything we needed. The neighborhood has so much to offer and everything is within easy walking distance. I'd come back just to sit on the front porch and talk to the passersby. Oh and geez - the breakfast!!! candles, crystal, homemade lemon poppyseed muffins, delicious omelet - over the top. it was a great experience.
Great historic home bed and breakfast in the heart of the city. There are many shops, coffee houses, pubs and a historic market for food within walking distance. Jim is a great host. Henry the dog welcomes you with a wagging tail and a low woof of hello. Nice

My husband and I stayed at the Clifford House for a week.
Clifford House is an old beautiful house, located in the heart of historic Cleveland. The owner, who hosted us, Mr. Jim Miner, was attentive to our requests. He made us great vegetarian breakfasts. Here are some photos: Avocado toast with poached egg, Quinoa salad, Omelet with asparagus.

Jim, Henry, and Connie are fabulous hosts. Breakfasts were delicious and included several options. Schneider suite was immaculate and spacious. Location is excellent and is among quaint tree lined streets. Within walking distance or very short RTA train ride to Cleveland attractions. I highly recommend Clifford House and hope to return.
Jim is an amazing host and provided us with a fantastic breakfast every morning. The house has charm and character and our accommodations were spacious and cozy and we were provided with everything we needed. Henry the dog is beyond adorable. Couldn’t recommend more highly and we’ll definitely return for another stay
This was our first time staying at the Clifford House B&B. We made a great choice! We stayed 3 nights and four day. The owner (Jim) was a joy along with Henry the dog. Jim is just so knowledgeable and full of information, from restaurants to places of interest to somewhere to get a good drink or glass of wine. Now to the important stuff, the accommodation were outstanding but breakfast was just crazy. Jim leaves no stone unturned, we had eggs, pancakes, potatoes, bacon, sausage, etc I think you get the idea. We found Jim to be kind, engaging, and just an all around good guy. We highly recommend - you will not be disappointed.
