Quiet Regional Park.
A good lake for kayak, canoe, paddle board, or any other non motorized water sports activities.
The drawback is the lake is very weedy and full of silt.
You will find the water is of a green color most of the time.

You can fish and while the water is full of sediment, there is a beach.
CAMPIMG:
Overnight camping is allowed. There are spots for Tents or a camper for reservation.
WATER SPORTS:
Rentals are available for: Kayaks, Canoues, Paddle Boards, and Paddle boats.
WEDDINGS:
There are shelters where a wedding can be held.
GOLF:
There is a public golf course attach to the park.
TRAILS:
There is a paved trail system that encircle the lake. It is almost 3 miles around. Walking or bicycle riding is allowed on the trails.
We camped at RV site #2 all week. Although there are only 2 RV sites, they are both large and spacious. Great evening shade, great bike trails, a shallow beach area and paddle boats/canoes for rent. Our granddaughters were camping with us (13 & 8). It was quiet and lovely. The only set back is that it has latrines and not flush toilets. But our site had full hookups, therefore not needed. A wonderful hidden gem in MN!!!!
Great camping/fishing. Basswood areas 1-10 are in a pine forest. Basswood 11+ is in a deeper wooded area next to the lake with easy access to the powered ramada. Whitepine areas are more sunny and open and have drive-up access. 4-5 good fishing spots (that I know of), though some are rented out with specific sites. Lots of trails, golfing, park and beach area.
Great local park, with a ton of activities to do. Any time of the year there is always something to do from cross country skiing to golf this park never disappoints.
Pretty good area with a lot to do, especially if your camping. They have paddle boats, a fenced in swim area, and a park, as well as golf.
There are no showers in the campground. The spaces to tent are ok, a little on the small side. If you have to go anywhere at night, be back by 10pm or you are locked out for the night. A drone was following me around last night, for a super long time. It really creeped me out. The visitors center is hard to locate. The staff that answers the line for reservations are friendly. You will have to walk your stuff into the campsite.
Visited this labor day. This is good campground for first time campers. Near to civilization so you can run to a store if you forgot something or near by restaurant. Car parking and campsite is very close so we carried too many items from home. Bathrooms are clean. This park has lot of activities swim beach, hiking , biking etc. Very safe but little noisy at night we could hear car passing by and there is no policy for quite time after 10 pm. We had a good family time.
Interesting place to camp. While some of the scenery is beautiful, you'll have to listen to traffic from across the lake all night and the occasional light from distant headlights will light up your campsite.

This place is an amazing resource for dog owners. If you are used to a "traditional" dog park, you will be in for a surprise as the Cleary Lake Dog Park is as natural as they come. This means there can be lots of mud (come prepared) but what dog does
Beautiful golf course and terrain. Itâs a challenging course but not overly so.
The quality here is competitive with many of the private clubs in the Metro.
It does get a tad pricey, but they have a premium product here.
