Clearfield Aquatic and Fitness Center - Public swimming pool in Clearfield - 825 State St, USA

My kids take lessons there. We love it. Just hard to get continue on the lessons because we are not residents. Wish there open up more classes.

I have enjoyed this facility up until this point. They handled 2020 very well and the staff has always been really good with us. However, I do feel that there is neglect from the top management. They still have not replaced the broken tiles along the edge of the swimming pool where children's fingers glide across to grip the sides as they swim. My daughter received a deep cut along her finger. I don’t blame the kids working here as they are quick to assist, but I do blame whomever manages/owns this facility. I pay a fee to sit here and watch my kids swim, as do many other adults. There should certainly have been money allocated for repairing the broken tiles years ago. But instead of replacing tiles, there is a new policy in place called the “Wave” device. They require all children 12 and under to wear this device for safety purposes. This should be optional for customers to choose wether or not to use these devices. I would suggest to listen to customers needs and to invest in necessary repairs for safety asap as the broken tiles are a major concern. There was money to purchase the Wave device. There should be money to replace the tiles lining the pool. I’ll delete this review if repairs are made.

Good indoor pool. They also have an outdoor pool but that is only open in the summer months. Website is a little hard to navigate and figure out the hours of the pool.. It would be nice to have the pool hours at the top of the page. It took me several minutes scrolling through a whole bunch of pages for fitness and swim lessons before I actually found the hours.

Decent place. Found it very interesting that parents were charged $7 if they wanted to sit on benches and watch their kids practice. Nice venue. Been here before but for the aquatic center. Usually very clean and we'll maintained. This time we were on the basketball courts.

Has hot tub. No sauna or steamroom. Private stalls and a gang shower. Big empty locker room. Has a swim suit spinner. $8 in 2024

Absolute joke. Rented party room for a birthday, $150. THEN they charged every single person to even enter. Not swim, not use any facilities.(including grandparents, relatives) who just came to wish happy birthday. THEN they force any kids who swim to wear a bulky plastic headband so the lifeguards don't have to do their job. THEN they had the audacity to bring us a checklist 30 min before our 2 hours was up with a CLEANING LIST. WHY DID WE PAY 150 IF YOU DO NOTHING.... boycott this place. They suck.

Really fun Halloween event for kids. Wasn't walker or wheelchair friendly. Flow of games in the pool area could've been better by adding arrows on the ground since there was only one entrance/exit.

Don’t go here! They have this new system where your child is required to wear a headband the entire time they are in the water….made our experience there very un-enjoyable and the kids hated being there. They wanted to leave shortly after we got there because of this headband. It doesn’t really help with safety in my opinion and there should be a waver or option to opt out if you don’t want to wear them but there isn’t. They threatened to kick my children out several times because of the bands not being on…my girls are 2….the staff was a little overboard about making sure the kids were wearing them. Seems like someone’s rich uncle sold them a product that will deter people from being patrons. We won’t be going back.
