Awful experience here. Will not go back. Rooms were not ready until 5pm. They gave me a different room on the other side of the building that wasn't connected to the rest of the building so seeing my family down the hall would've meant multiple elevator trips thru the lobby. No cleaning service or extra towels on site. Heat/AC goes off of the thermostat but there was a handwritten sign taped to the AC unit for me to know that. Validated parking everyday means a trip to the lobby every time I come back. Hard wood floors means sound travels throughout the rooms so neighbors can hear each other. No sauna or pool so don't follow the signs. Some showers have electronic temp control and some don't. Just not a fun time.

Though this hotel is well located, is a nice property with a lovely staff, the situation with WI-FI reliability is concerning. For the entire 4 day stay, this property's WI-FI never worked in the rooms. When I reported the issue, the staff didnt seem surprised and suggested I use the WI-FI in the lobby. Don't choose this property if you NEED WI-FI in your room.

(The hotel is apparently going through renovations at the time of writing this but if you are staying here soon. Theses view points for our stay are valid) Note: I had to find about this online, no one working with the hotel told me this at the time of booking or any time. Me and my partner went here for a staycation staying in the jacuzzi suite ($227) they offer. We were greeted by a very posh lobby and a nice receptionist. This is kind of where the luxury kind of stopped though. The parking situation was odd but workable. You follow signs to an alley where across this alley is the parking structure itself. When we parked there were no luggage carriers. We found out later there were luggage carriers but people were not returning them. Those inconsiderate people aside, the hotel should invest in more of them. Onto the room itself, it was very disappointing. The toilet was running when we entered the room, it eventually quieted itself but was a bad first omen lol. The walls in the room seem very thin, you can hear children playing in the halls, doors slamming up and down the hall and people above moving about. Its makes for a good rest with all the little noises, so beware light sleepers. A fixture on the wall was just missing? Most of the outlets in the room were very worn out, though there were a-lot of them. The bed was firm but comfy sheets that seemed very clean. Almost no overhead lighting, all the lights in our room were floor, desk and book lamps. Which is okay but very outdated. TV was really far away from the bed, which there is a couch for you to sit on but most people I reckon will want to rest in bed and watch TV. The mini fridge is very cheap and takes a good day to chill anything. The jacuzzi itself was the best part of the room, very strong jets and plenty of room for 2 people. Though outdated with the controls on the wall instead of in the tub itself and takes a long time to fill. Central air instead of a normal hotel window unit was also a nice feature. Overall a solid 3/10. Its nice enough but not for the over $200 a night for the jacuzzi suite. Very nice service and atmosphere in the hotel. This hotel is very much a 'Hotel of inconvenience', its not horrible but for the price tag I would expect more peace. I truly hope the renovations help out the hotel.

Positive: As soon as I walked in I was greeted by hotel employee, she was very nice and super helpful. I was happy to take her advice,I loved the bathroom. Negative: I asked for a double bed but only got a Queen ,it was not a huge deal and it probably could've been solved but I didn't ask,n that's totally fine, would have been nice to be informed first.

Parking in the tiny garage was complicated to find. Clean rooms, polite staff. 3 star is for service. They originally told us 3, then 4 for checking. Thought it was late, but ok. Then our conjoined rooms were still not ready til 5:45. We sat while other customers were sent to their rooms. I called 2 days before and then morning of and was told our rooms were together and ready. Upon arrival waiting in lobby with 5 kids was not a good experience. The pool is decent, if you can find your way around. The breakfast is like a buffet with plenty of choices and we loved it, the host are not very pleasant at the dining room. Overall I would return and recommend to others. Everyone has a bad day.

You can tell this is a bit older of a hotel, but the rooms were clean and had all the basics. The breakfast for guests was very good. The location is great. Close enough to the city that it's easy to get to any of the tourist attractions, but there also great restaurants nearby.

Beautiful hotel in Clayton, St Louis. Efficient, friendly check in. Room was large with comfortable bed. All the usual amenities provided. Push button operated shower was fun. Parking at spacious garage available next door for $6 a night. Pool, gym and laundry facilities. Some bars and restaurants in the vicinity. Breakfast cooked while you wait. Rates reasonable.
