Clasico Italian Chophouse - Restaurant in Sarasota - 1341 Main St, USA

We visited this place for our little date night and it was such a good time. The food was tasty and the atmosphere with the live music definitely hit the spot. I would recommend the meatballs for starters, I enjoyed the strawberry mule to drink. Very refreshing! The seared tuna was delicious and well seasoned. And to top it all off we had the best waiter, he was so patient and very helpful with his suggestions. We will definitely be back for more 😍

It was my birthday dinner - mid December. I ordered the Gorgonzola stuffed gnocchi with Sirloin Tips. I have a garlic intolerance and the chefs were able to accommodate me by changing up the dish a bit! My friend had the boneless short ribs. Salad was excellent as well, I was even treated to a Birthday dessert! - Chocolate cake! EXCELLENT! Our server was knowledgable and attentive. I think his name was Fred!

It was pretty good! I had the eggs Benedict and it was okay. But the oysters were the best oysters of my life! ( i had the fire roasted oysters) also the donuts were soooo good! シ

Everything here was great. I have been to a "fancy" restaurant here in Sarasota yet, and this was my first one. I got the Strawberry Mule and it was fantastic, one of my favorite alcoholic beverages ever. The burger was one of the best I've ever had. And then the Donuts were on another level. It was a great place and worth the price of everything. Definitely want to come back here at some point

Rediscovered this treasure of a restaurant in downtown Sarasota. We came on Sunday morning at 11AM for brunch. I started with the Lox Crostini small plate. The chopped egg, red onion, dill, everything bagel spice and whipped cream goat cheese was a perfect blend of flavors to compliment the smoked salmon. I highly recommend this to start and it comes on two pieces of ciabatta bread if you want to share (I did not, lol). For a main I had the Italian Biscuits & Gravy which was unbelievably delicious. Perhaps a smidge over indulgent, but f@#$ it I'm having a two course breakfast so I'm past caring about that. My friend had the Steak & Egg Tacos which clearly looked amazing. Overall I was highly impressed and will certainly be back. Other observations... Bar area looked more than accommodating if you want to come for just drinks. Plenty of outdoor seating. Very nice booths for a double date or groups. Sabrina the waitress did an excellent job. Especially in accommodating a barrage of drink orders. Also got to meet the owner who was friendly.

Clasico is one of my absolute favorite spots in downtown Sarasota!! The food is fantastic - clearly made with high quality, fresh ingredients and the staff is an absolute pleasure. Not to mention, the ambiance is like nothing else you'll find in the area. Hunter is always an outstanding server (I ask for him every time) and I adore the manager, Josh, who is always attentive to his patrons throughout their time at his restaurant. Do yourself a favor and enjoy a meal at Clasico! ✨🤌🏻

9/10 the food was bomb, pizza and pasta so so good. The only reason it doesn’t get a 10 is, because I am a espresso martini girl and it just wasn’t it. I’ll be returning for sure!

We did enjoy the live piano playing. The food, however, was mediocre and not the quality we expected for the price tag. We ordered the calamari appetizer. It was mostly breading and chewy. I ordered the scallops, and 3 out of the 4 had sand in them, and the salad that came with it was very oily. The server was informative and friendly, but service took a while, and it wasn't busy. (Wednesday) so... I had the Love Affair cocktail, which was something new to me. It was good. The server helped me find menu items to avoid or modify my allergies, which was appreciated.
