Beautiful Bridge on land that is even more beautiful. The surrounding area is wooded and there’s a very nice little stream that runs under the bridge. When there hadn’t been much rain in the area the water is very low in the creek, but it’s still very nice. This is a great place to take photos. Once a few years ago my family and I had professional family photos done here and they turned out great! There is slot of posted information that is educational and informative such as “ where does my wastewater go”. This is a very nice Alabama day trip, for a beautiful sunny day. Keep in mind it’s not a large public attraction with a heavy flow of visitors, so you won’t find a restaurant or snack bar and you won’t need a tour guide, but it’s for sure worth the drive if you’re within an hour or less from the location. If you’re passing by the area you certainly should stop by and see the beautiful bridge and land and snap a few photos. If you enjoy nature and the outdoors, this is right up your alley. They have a cabin rental available just check the website for more info.

No fee. Very pretty place. I would like to see it in the Spring time. You can walk across the bridge but not drive over it.

Beautiful park with plentiful walking trails and scenery. This is a perfect place to pack a lunch and explore. The walkways and mill house are almost something out of a fairy tale!!

Worth my 45min to come see though anti-climactic compared to say covered bridges in New England. Informative placards. A bit graffitied. Ample parking that even if closed off due to opening hours could still access just outside. Prob a scenic spot for something like Senior photos and also can double as a wedding venue apparently.

Loved visiting this beautiful Covered Bridge. We brought our kids with us they loved it too. It was too cold to play in the water, but they enjoyed tossing rocks into it. Very nice area with picnic tables. Clean, I didn't see any trash. Great place to visit. We plan on coming back when it's warmer.

Beautiful, quiet place and amazing wilderness area surrounding it. You basically stumble on the brigde once you get out of your car. We were there in may and nature was blossoming. Take some time and enjoy the surroundings. The restrooms were open.

Really great covered bridge over a bubbling creek. Went with family and although we didn’t have a picnic because we didn’t know how nice it was I totally recommend you go with one- they have great tables right by the water. Would be great to spend a couple hours hanging out. The grist mill and cabin were not open- we went on a Friday but perhaps they are available to view on The Weekend.

It is great place to relax and have a picnic. It's nice for the kids because they can go waiting in the creek or play around in the woods. I'm glad to see that it has been kept up and cared for. I found out that you can rent the mill house through VRBO. It's a pleasant place to visit.
