Great small, family run motel on Soco Rd. in Maggie. You will be treated like old friends and family here and if you need anything it's only a request away. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Small pool is clean, cool and beyond refreshing. Grills available (bring charcoal). Motorcycle friendly but spots for cars / trailers as well so don't worry about parking as there is plenty. Again, can't say enough about the hospitality here. Highly recommended!!
This was my husband’s and my second year staying at the Clarketon motel. All I can say is this is the only place we want to stay now. The owners, Tammy and Phillip instantly make you feel like you are family staying there. They are some of the nicest people I have ever met. When it’s time to checkout, I hate to leave them as much as I hate to leave the mountains. The rooms are spotless and if there is anything you need, they get it immediately. We got to the motel around 10:00 AM Thursday morning. They could have made us wait until check in time at 2:00 but Tammy knew we had been driving for 6 hours and made sure our room was ready for us so we could immediately go in and freshen up. Phillip even helped Archie load up and put air in our tires before leaving. Only wish we lived closer to them. Would love to spend more time with them. Until next year, see you then. Love you both. Philip and Tammy are wonderful people and even all the other people that stay there or just like family to me. I will always continue to stay here whenever I go to Maggie's Valley
This was our 3rd time there. Really great folks. Close to downtown but not so close that it's difficult to get in or out.
It was a cute, cozy little motel. No pass keys.... Real door knobs w/ real keys☺️ Rocking chairs on the porch with a table and smoke bucket if you needed it. Clean small pool and plenty of awesome views to look at. Rooms were very clean and homey. Staff was great and accommodating. Definitely a favorite memory for me!
This place looks alittle deceiving at first but was amazing! Owners treated us like family. We had bonfires, got help with our bikes if something happened. Never had this kind of hospitality at any place I have ever stayed. Charming mom and pop hotel. Great location and price. Would definitely recommend people to stay here.
The rooms are cozy and very clean. Beds are nice and comfortable. The water pressure and temperature is AMAZING!! The rocking chairs outside of each room make everything homey, expessaly if you are travaling in groups. It's verry quiet for being right on the main road. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. They definitely take verry good care of their biker guests. It was pouring rain and they even loaned us bike covers. I can't say enough good about them.
Room was small but clean and the owners and workers were super nice, pool was the cleanest hotel/motel pool I have ever seen. It was a great place to spend the night! We would definitely come again! We were on a motorcycle to if it helps!
