Public access where you can walk on the steps or the sand to the beach. Easy to miss driving buy. This is public access and free parking. Make sure to obey the signs and regulations. Thanks to the town and community for providing this.
Nice access. Maybe 15 parking spots. Shower access for washing off the sand and a port-a-john as well. Very nice boardwalk over the dune as well as a path through the sand next to it. (Helps if you're pulling a wagon and don't want to carry it over the steps)
Just steps away from the Outer Banks Inn! View beautiful scenery from the top level of the pavilion as you rest on the bench seating and enjoy the breeze! There is two outdoor shower heads to rinse off the sand and salt after enjoying the beach. There is a third faucet for rinsing feet or shoes! There is a paved parking area but it isn't really spacious.
Nice acces to beach. Stairs or path will get you there. Lifeguard near by. No restrooms
Usually parked full unless you time it right, had a wooden stairway if you don't want to walk in the loose sand. Not overly crowded beach, we fished in the late evening.
I love the fact that we (OBX) have free beach access. This is one of the smaller lots. There is a handicap spot but I don't feel this access is handicap friendly especially if you have a wheelchair. You can get to the beach by sand or a boardwalk. This access has a trash can and poop bags. It does not have a port-a-potty or shower.
It's tucked away between a couple big cottages but a awesome, clean access, no fancy restrooms but I'm not there for that..the walkway is beautiful, gazebo at top and easy walking...love the beach and love going here at night when it's not crowded and I can hangout with my friends or family and enjoy sitting on the benches and listen to the waves .
I liked the clean beach. I wish people would pay attention more to the holes they dig. A really big safety issue at night.
