We stayed here for one night (one VERY hot night!) and as we were traveling by motorcycle, we were happy to be able to walk to music and food easily. Hannah was incredibly gracious and let us check in a little early as we didn’t stop as much on the way as we thought we would due to the heat. She met us and got us all set up (even making sure we were in a room with functioning AC since the room we booked was having some issues keeping up with the 98 degree heat) and showed us everything we needed. Breakfast is self serve and there was plenty to choose from. We also enjoyed having some coffee and reading for a while in the library in the morning!
UK Visitor: Outstanding. Lovely welcome by Hannah, settled us in nicely. It’s like being in a museum, in a truly positive way. What a beautiful house, and well positioned for the Main Street. Won’t be everyone’s experience, but we were the only guests, so had the whole place to ourselves. We felt privileged be the custodians of Clark House even if for only one night.
We stayed at Clark House recently and were very happy with both the location and the room. The "continental breakfast" left much to be desired. Sliced bagels in the refrigerator and ground coffee beans (with no explanation on using the coffee-maker) for a do-it-yourself meal didn't meet even my lowest expectations of a place that calls itself a B&B. We did grab a yogurt and an apple on our way into town for a real breakfast. FYI - Try the Blues Berry Cafe for breakfast. Down home meal with fabulous music.
We were pleasantly surprised at how much we love your Inn. Our King Cotton room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was perfect with many options. The large kitchen and dining area is enough to accommodate all the guests. The other guests from all over the world was the cherry on top of it all! Thank you for your hospitality Hannah! We'll definitely return. PnT
Wonderful oasis in Clarksdale! We highly recommend a stay here. Very quiet, clean, comfy large rooms with multiple self serve breakfast options! We stayed during the Juke Joint Festival and were so happy to have a peaceful place to stay at the end of each day.
While our stay at the Clark House Inn was overall pleasant, there were a couple of drawbacks worth mentioning. The lack of shampoo was a bit inconvenient, but manageable. Additionally, the breakfast provided was a bit underwhelming in terms of variety and quality. However, the accommodations were comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the location was convenient. Overall, it was a decent stay, but there's definitely room for improvement in the amenities department.
Booked at short notice on a road trip through the Delta. Wonderful room in the cottage out back, parking available, lovely greeting and comms from the innkeeper. Informal breakfast and well stocked kitchen for use by all is a real bonus and nice touch. Highly recommended if you're in the area.
When I visit Clarksdale Mississippi my family and I stay at the Hampton Inn because of the convenience it offers to our relatives. During this particular stay, Oct 28th-Oct 29th, I got to meet the most amazing staff! The woman that checked us in, I f
On a cold Wednesday night in January we came here after we saw a flyer a blue cotton bake shop we needed to check bad apples blues club out. And we are so happy that we did! It was a very special hart touching night with a lot of live music and histo
Go see the new sales associate Caressa for assistance. She was absolutely amazing. She made my experience of furniture shopping a whole lot easier. She was also very polite. She helped me to pick out the best furniture. I am very grateful.
Great night listening to "Reverent" Roberts. Met Stan Street as a wonderful host, working hard, like most of Clarkesdale, to keep the sound and those vibes alive. Thanks Stan!
What a neat, cozy little place off the beaten path. The food was fantastic, and the service was top-notch. If you are here, it's a must go, and if we get back through, we will be back.
