Run away as fast as you can!! This hotel is overpriced and nasty. We got to our room and I could see the counters weren’t clean. The light didn’t work. Carpet had not been vacuumed. But worse of all was the smell. We went to Walgreens and bought some Febreze. I wiped down the counters and the towel showed dirt. The on duty clerk did come up and moved us. The second room was cleaner but still the smell. I was up in the middle of the night not feeling good. I’m thinking it could be the room. Breakfast was bare minimum. Really mad at myself that I booked here.

We had vehicle problems and had to find a place close. We arrived close to 11:30 pm. The staff was very polite and helpful. We went straight to the room. Walk in to red stains on the carpet. Everything else appeared to be clean. Would have changed hotels but really didn't have a choice at that point.

This hotel used to be bad and it’s only gotten worse. I’ve stayed here a lot and this was the last straw. It’s so bad I’ve reported it to the county health department. Manager Heather, you might want to stop ducking me and call me back… This hotel will put you in a dirty room and not do anything about it. I don’t mean just mildly dirty, I mean they do not clean rooms between guests. At all. This has happened to me more than once here but this last time had someone else’s “leavings” in the toilet and the bedding was sitting in the corner. The phone doesn’t work either of course, so when I went down to request a room change I’m told there are no more rooms and nobody to clean it. I was handed a few queen size sheets for a king size bed and told to make the best of it. No pillows. The floor was sopping wet because of the leaky fridge, and black mold was growing on the ceiling, AC and the mattress, which I had to lay on in my nest of too-small sheets. And the best part is that I got charged full price for this. I’m pretty sure you get better treatment and cleaner rooms in prison, for way less out of pocket. They’ll also lose reservations, charge you the wrong price, and it takes a million years to get anything done with them in person or over the phone. Unfortunately because of the location and the frequency with which I’m up in Hopkinsville, I’ve stayed here a lot, and not a single time has everything gone right and been smooth and easy - it’s always a hair-pulling event. I get that in a military town there’s probably a lot of staff turnover, and I also get that they are very clearly understaffed. But I’ve been coming here about 4 years now on and off and these issues have only gotten worse along with the condition of the rooms. TL;dr: do NOT stay here. I get that it’s cheap but you’re putting your life in your hands walking through these doors. Enjoy a fun photo of the moldy ceiling. Don’t mess up your lungs breathing this stuff, yall.

This hotel is not up to par. My flight was delayed and I arrived at 230am. The front desk staff was super nice and the lobby was inviting. We were so tired we went straight to bed and the next morning we noticed the room was not clean. All I expected was a clean place to sleep. There were toothpicks on the bathroom floor. An old apple in the refrigerator. a wet spot on the carpet and mold on the bathroom ceiling. Attempts to contact the manager, as I am planning another trip back have failed. She is always in a meeting. I was willing to give them another try as I am a Choice Reward member. Sierra at the front desk was less than friendly. She apologized for the "cadence" of her voice but she was just short and rude. I would describe her more as passive aggressive in her short comments. And in telling me I would be best to contact Choice directly. I would have given them high marks if they had even attempted to make it better for my next stay. This property is not up to brand standards at all. Please avoid this hotel at all costs. There are Hilton and Marriott brands that are much better.

We check in around 3:30 get upstairs and the room is dirty, they relocate us thankfully no issue. Second room the carpet is wet at first I thought my feet were just sweaty from walking all day but after my child had walked on it for less than a minute his feet were BLACK. We asked for towels and bedsheets pillows for the pull out couch when we checked in and was told housekeeping is gone for the day we had to wait until the morning(the sheets were clearly still dirty). Housekeeping knocked on our door everyday at 9:20am. I think we got new bedsheets on day 2 and that was it only got our trash changed for the rest of days. One night we came back and they hadn’t even came at all we had no bed sheets we had to go out and buy our own. My grandma had stayed one day and who ever came in said they don’t like to be in there while people are in the room so she just took trash and that was it. I’m convinced the carpet had black mold my kids were sick by day 2, the air quality in the room was awful we cracked our door while getting ready in the mornings to get some air flow, it was humid and muggy. (There was no exhaust fan in bathroom) We had another family member staying on a different floor and they said their carpet was the same way. The lobby was deceiving because it looks nice and clean but there was no hot breakfast available and huge gnats flying on the apples available to guests. “Breakfast” was only available until 9am. Some staff were accommodating while others were not. This looked nice from the outside compared to other hotels around but very deceiving. 😅

This was a HIGHLY overpriced hotel!!! Bathroom was horrid, cracked and broken drywall on the ceiling, crinkled wall paper and outdated tile around tub/shower. Room was supposed to be Smoke-free, but the entire hallway down to our room wreaked of nicotine smell in the carpet. Windows had no drape to close to keep exterior light out during the night. Just a sheer curtain and heavy drape that covered 1/3rd of the windows. The hotel was no where near capacity, yet we were stuck with LOUD occupants on our right and across the hall. The "heated indoor pool" was not available. And thus, because they locked that door, the wide open well lit Fitness center was ALSO unavailable cause you couldn't go thru the Locked door to the pool area to at least access the Fitness center. How do you have a "top notch" hotel, yet you don't have local channels on your TV package in the rooms? I DEFINITELY expect a refund for the night from my Choice Rewards Program and we will be checking out tomorrow and canceling our 2nd night's stay.

The fire alarm went off at 1:30 am. Called front desk to ask what was going on and the reply was "I don't know. " I went down and overheard a fireman say it was a false alarm. Front desk never called us back or informed us of anything. Room was old, bathroom was not the greatest. The breakfast was very limited basically cereal, bagel, and coffee. We will not return.

This place is incredible! Awesome back story, awesome set up, and Milton and Janie were the absolute sweetest people. The animals were all fantastic and the mini-golf course was way better than anticipated - I thought it would be a small, couple hole

I liked my first visit there but Bandit my pet chi-pen or whatever didn't seem impressed. In fact, he seemed to be looking for a way out. He doesn't like cages even large ones.

My family absolutely loves this walking path. Whether were walking or riding a bike we always feel safe, especially since we have seen police officers patrolling the walkway on bikes. We highly recommend this place.
