Clarion Pointe Bloomington - Normal near I-55 and University - Hotel in Normal - 6 Traders Cir, USA

I have been in between places to stay and needed long term availability. The staff was more than accommodating and always super helpful. The rooms were clean and up to date and when I needed something for the room the staff was always right on top of my request. Every morning breakfast was served hot, fresh and on time. The pool area was also lit up with fun lights and clean! I would highly recommend the Clarion for short or long term stay to anyone! Thanks Clarion for your service!

This place isn't the Hilton, but it's not a motel either. The rooms are mostly clean, though I found hair in the bathroom. One lady seemed to handle all the cleaning. Many people appear to live here long-term. The complimentary breakfast was cheap and unappetizing, and the coffee was like brown water. The pool was locked and under repair, but the workout facility was good. If you need an inexpensive place for a night or two, it’s okay, but nothing special. The staff is nice and accommodating, but the grounds need work.

The first room had water dripping from the ceiling of the bathroom in the tub and bathroom floor. The second room had holes in the walls and spider webs on ceiling, tub didn't look very clean either. The place smelled like pot and dirty carpet. Breakfast was absolutely horrible. the whole breakfast area was dirty, not kept up or restocked. Cereal all over the counter waffle batter on the counter as well. Could hardly communicate with the front desk when we told her about the water leaking from the ceiling. we were told that all the other rooms were dirty and offered us a refund but it was already 11:00pm. Finally, they found a room only after calling Choice Hotels customer service. Overall experience was horrible don't stay here if you don't have to. Choice Hotels needs to help with training, cleanliness, and appearance.

Toilet seat was dirty. Had to clean it to use it. Hair on towel and hair in bathtub. No shampoo or conditioner. Only cheap bar of soap. A/C works, bed is cheap and beat up. Looks like no upkeep or maintenance.

Honest Review! Great value! Nice, clean place to lay your head. Exactly what you should expect for this price. Staff was very friendly! They did need a bit more training to handle questions and requests. We had a question that neither the day or afternoon rep knew the answer to. But they did get it resolved for us. We did not use the pool, fitness center or eat there. You do need to be aware that there is NO guest elevator! Before you book, you should call to be sure they can accommodate you if needed.

There are better hotels next to this hotel in all honesty. They don't have an elevator even though when we booked it over the phone they told us they had an elevator but they didn't. The room smells the moment you open the door and we had to turn on the ac to keep the smell at bay. The washroom door is falling apart and the carpet is old where you can still some stains . In the hallway coming up to the second floor you can see some mold which isn't good as that may be where the stench comes from. The original purpose of coming here was to get a room during the special Olympics as we had a family member participating and they said they were handicap accessible which was a lie. I'd you just are trying to get somewhere because you have no where else to stay then at least there are room with ok beds. The rooms are quiet though.

This hotel is uniquely disgusting. The sheets were dirty, the towels had marks, the toilet had urine on it, the nightstand had.... something. This hotel inoculates you from a whole host of diseases with the presence of bacteria everywhere. On the plus side, the door to the room shut and there was running water. That reminds me: there was a use bar of soap in the shower. What a bonus!

Clarion Pointe is not worth it they ask for $100 deposit the water was making real loud noise you can hear the pipes. It’s like they just put some nice backsplash together with nice tv and didn’t really remodel. I was here for a day I won’t be returning the next time I visit. And the hallways smell like body odor, they knock on my room soon as they heard the pipes they knew they didn’t fix the pipes in the remodeling if I could give them a zero I would.
