Clarion Inn Elmira-Horseheads - Featured Reviews (116)
Clean, quiet hotel with extensive parking and variety of rooms. Easy access to room corridors from the parking lot. Fine, casual restaurant attached to the hotel. Room are large and comfortable with good water pressure. Nice TV and desk sitting area.
Room was clean and spacious, no breakfast included but there was a restaurant located on the premises. The grounds overlook a river so was lovely for walking my dog before our travels. We staid at this hotel en route to Buffalo to visit family. It is quite close to The Corning Glass Museum which is really interesting for someone that is into science and art, a must see.
Just called to try and get information. Woman who answered was short with me, rude and then hung up on me when I asked another question. Definitely will avoid this hotel in the future. If you had been at least polite I would have stayed there in the future and recommended you. Now I will share my negative experience and recommend to anyone/everyone to stay away. Good customer service goes a long way, you need to train your staff.
Located near Highway 86 it seemed like a good stop before conducting business in Bath NY the next day. After a long day on the road I was looking for a place to stay with breakfast included in the price. The room was fine, clean, no issues, the hotel was quiet. My only complaint is when I went for breakfast the next morning, I was informed that the restaurant was not open that day. I wish the staff had told me that when I checked in.
The hotel overall was clean and nice, except the keys to the hotel rooms do not work. Me and several of my family members had to go to the front desk to have our cards “fixed”. It wasn’t ever fixed and it took multiple attempts to get into our rooms through out our stay
We want to recognize Sheila (I hope I got the name correct) who was the manager on duty this past weekend. She went above and beyond to be sure we were out in a non smoking and quiet room with easy accessibility for my physically disabled daughter. She was friendly, easy to talk with and made our trip so enjoyable. We will definitely return!!
Perfectly situated for appearance in Chemung County Supreme Court, Jim’s Gym (boxing and weight training), and, Championship Bar and Grill. Slept very well, nice little fitness room, very pretty indoor pool. Staff was friendly, plenty of fresh towels. A guest complained about the heater being loud: I turned the fan off and it was quiet and the room temperature was perfect. Bathroom spotless, shower was hot. Could not ask for more. Looking forward to my next visit to Elmira and stay at this hotel.
Positive: "" Negative: First room I was put in had bugs. This is the second time in a row this happened to me at this hotel. Exterminator was at front desk. Room had used toiletries. Given second room, no bugs, but again had someone else's used toiletries. Not worth the money.
Yooooo! If you live or work or occasionally visit Elmira you need to check out this place. Lucky 7 Deli on the corner of Walnut & Washington (used to be a Byrne Dairy).
They make all kinds of things but it's a Mediterranean/Middle East style kitchen
Made it to Elmira on a return trip from the Finger Lakes. This University campus is gorgeous and full of beautiful old buildings. This was not the original home for the study but has become its final resting place. It wasn't open the day we visited b
So impressed with this hidden gem. I had no idea this place was a restaurant for the first 3 years living here. Now I visit weekly. The fettuccine Alfredo and harvest salad are 10/10. My go to favorites.
Awesome store always love coming here. Awesome place to bring someone. So many animals to look at. They have birds, fresh and saltwater fish, bunnies, chinchillas, hamsters, ferrets, ginni pigs, mice, shrimp, and even living coral decor for your fish
Takes a lot to impress me. Food and service were excellent. This was a first and definitely not our last time! Prices are good, too! I recommend getting their cinnamon toast, so yummy!ð
