Clarion Inn Asheville Airport - Hotel in Fletcher - 550 Airport Rd, USA

This hotel was a complete surprise. Check in went well and front desk ladies were helpful and courteous. Seemed updated and clean throughout. The room was good with a comfortable bed. The morning breakfast was one of the better continental breakfasts I've had in a hotel recently. Mexican restaurant next door is a good place to get evening dinner with a steak house across the parking lot. Only negative might be the long walk to the lobby since the hotel wings to rooms are rather long. Would stay here again.

My wife, my children and I, had an amazing stay at this hotel. The hotel is conveniently located near surrounding restaurants and businesses, the hotel is very clean and quiet, the rooms are adequately sized, the staff is extremely nice and welcoming, and there is free breakfast in the mornings, which is better than most breakfasts offered at other hotels. The cost of the room was extremely fair, especially considering the quality and experience. I highly recommend this place, and I will absolutely be back in the future!

This was my second visit for an annual mother-daughter weekend. We came back because our last visit was great. Hotel feels safe, breakfast was wonderful, lobby area is big and bright. The location is perfect - near the airport, shopping and restaurants. And we love the Blue Agave Mexican restaurant attached to the hotel. However, this visit was a bit disappointing. Our room 110 felt dirty and in need of remodeling. The white bedding was dingy and needed to be replaced. There was a giant stain on the hallway carpet which we walked over for three days. It could have been cleaned in 10 minutes. Maid service came in and made our beds but didn't empty the overflowing trash can. To top all that off, I was charged a $200 "security deposit" upon check-in that wasn't released back to my credit card for several days after checking out. If I had known that would happen, I would have never booked there. It is noted as an afterthought at the bottom of the website, so my bad. But next time we'll look elsewhere.

Positive: The location was great for getting to the airport for an early flight. Breakfast was good. The assistant manager was amazing. Great customer service. Negative: There was no hot water in the room. Nothing was offered for this inconvenience when checking out.

The Hotel was nice. We arrived early and dined at the Blue Agave Restaurant which is attached to the lobby. The food was good and inexpensive. The service was great. Our room was quaint. Could use some updates, but, it was ok. And it was clean. The continental breakfast was awesome! It was more of a buffet with a variety of choices. One of the best I've ever seen. The location was decent. We visited the Biltmore Estates and it wasn't too far away. There is a large array of restaurants, department stores, etc., in close proximity and it's right at the exit for a major thoroughfare. My only complaint was the pool. It appeared to have some type of chemical or algae in it which made it unappealing. I didn't see anyone in the pool the three days we stayed there. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

I was charged a total of $500 for a $95 one night stay at this hotel due to booking fees. Not a bad stay. Particle board furniture and loud neighbors. The hotel clerk did not inform me of an additional $400 fee for this stay. I contacted customer support and they told me their was nothing I could do. No refund or anything to make things right. Food was cold. And a 3-5 business day hold to get money back on card. This could mess up a lot of people financially with overdrafts due to excessive cleaning fees. And the hotel clerks laughed at the extra $200 cleaning fee which turned into $400. I would not recommend this place. One star.

Great place to stay. Staff is extremely helpful and pleasant, breakfast is sooooo delicious and oh the comfort of the beds! The hotel has many restaurants within walking distance and also has an indoor and outdoor pool! Check out was NOON!

I have stayed at perhaps 1000 motels snd hotels all over the World, this hotel ranks with the best! The people, the room, the breakfast and the overall stay were wonderful! I can’t say enough to get the point across, if you stay ANYWHERE NEAR ASHEVILLE, you will fo yourself a disservice by staying anywhere else!
