Clarion Inn & Suites Miami International Airport - Featured Reviews (4144)
I’ve stayed at this location before however by far my most recent stay was the best thanks to Anthony C he was very professional and VERY attentive. Always greeting customers who come in and out the lobby. I requested a 6 night stay and any issues I came into (which were minor and few) he was on top of it and because my place still was not ready I decided to extend my stay an additional 6 days do to comfort and Anthony most definitely will be returning
I have so much to say. I stayed a week and a half.|The staff are unfriendly especially the older lady at the front desk. |The cleaning staff are even worst, the room are not clean at anytime. You have to ask for clean towels and sheets and take out your own trash. The beds are super small for queen beds and uncomfortable. The tv didn't work most of time. I ask one the cleaning lady about the water because a morning there was no water, she literally told me don't ask her go to the front desk. |I went to eat at the hotel's restaurant Miro's, the lady had an attitude she refuse to give us another menu so a group of 6 people with one menu trying to figure out dinner, for someone else to walk in and ask for a menu and she hands them one. |The food was not cooked and was cold.|I woke up to a guy painting the door and when I opened, he said wet paint. Who paints a door with guest inside and don't say anything.
Our flight from DCA to Miami was delayed and so we arrived at 1:00 a.m. at Miami international airport. |Scrambling to find a hotel room I search booking.com for hotel near the airport that had shuttle service, complimentary breakfast an a four-star rating thought. I thought I was calling the top results search which was the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Miami Airport directly when I dialed 833-669-1014. I was not. It took me the reservationdesk.com. Although the Holiday inn was not available, The agent who I thought was a representative of the Holiday inn was able to find and book me a room at the Clarion. It is beyond words to describe my disappointment. We were given a phone number to call to get a free shuttle service. However we were told that the last shuttle runs until 1:00 a.m. since we arrived at 1:15 a.m. there was no shuttle service. We had to order an Uber $17.94. What A Nightmare!!!|This place is a dump!|Upon entering my room, I was initially greeted by the smell of mold, mildew and old carpets. The implications of such neglect extend far beyond mere discomfort; they pose a serious health hazard to guests. Mold spores can trigger allergies and respiratory problems. A restful night's sleep should never come at the expense of one's health and well-being. The room looks run down to say the least. There are zero amenities as one would expect from a hotel in the Clarion chain. The bathroom was disgusting. There is no shampoo only conditioner. The bathroom fixtures are rusty. The next morning when we walked over to where we were told that was complementary breakfast, The employee said there hasn't been complimentary breakfast for the last 4 years. The shuttle service runs on the hour so if you miss it you have to wait a whole hour. I would never book from Reservation Desk com and certainly will never return to this hotel.
I guess you really get what you pay for.|||But wow. ||Let's start on the positives:||1. Close to airport |2. Price was great|3. The view of the airport was amazing seeing the planes take off and land|4. Water pressure was great for showers |5. Microwave and fridge were good|6. The staff were okay nothing spectacular but not bad.|7. The iron/steamer was good||Cons:||1. Parking? Thought it was free but apparently you have to pay (which was actually one of the reasons i chose here thinking it was free) smh||2.Room was so musty and old looking. My sinuses were off the charts with this one. There were stains on the curtains like if it was there since the early 1800s. Had to use my air freshener just to get the room to a bearable scent.||3.A cockroach came peeping out the ac vent and to my amazement I saw a next cockroach this time in the bathroom. Luckily, I was able to deal with them and not wake up to them.||4.The elevator wasn't working for a bit in the night. So we had to walk up 8 levels of creepy stairs after a long day out. These things happen so I’m not upset about that but what upset me was that there were no signs warning us that they were not working so guests had to be telling other guests what to do and trying to locate the stairs which was very well hidden I must say.||5.The TV was crazy and dated. It kept freezing or losing connection. It wasn't even a smart TV, in 2024? that's wild.||6. The safe looked like it was built in the 1700s, my money looked like it might have been safer if i left it under the bed.||||Overall, I won’t even send my worst enemy there. If it wasn't for such a short time and the fact that I was trying to rack up AA miles I would’ve definitely cancel on the spot and go somewhere else. Feels like some ptsd cause now i'd never want to book a budget place like that again.
We booked last minute coming in from Texas. Front staff were incredibly helpful and cordial. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The hotel and rooms were incredibly clean! The building and rooms are outdated and the bathroom door has some issues. Some might find that to be a problem but we thought it had a certain charm and definitely not a huge deal for us. Could be an issue for others though. The AC worked so well and we actually had a nice view from our room. I would not hesitate to book again. We slept very well. Very affordable.
I did not have a good experience at this hotel. There were cockroaches in my room and the room did not feel clean. The customer service was terrible. The people at the front desk are rude and have zero eye contact with the customer and of course are not very friendly. There are things that do not work, such as the hotel microwave. They charge for parking separately. First and last time. I do not recommend this hotel!
Old, very slow service at the front desk... when they said that they had a shuttle from the hotel to the port they should have explained that it was at an additional cost. The bed was surprisingly really comfortable though.
On 1st July, I was required to overnight due to travel issues. I must agree the facility is clean and quiet, however I was told that I had to pay a security deposit, which would have been reimbursed within two days after check out, the following morning. ..to date I am still awaiting reimbursement, I'd really like to have this matter resolved. AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. PLEASE and THANK YOU

I love this spot. The location is in the heart of Curtiss Parkway. There wasn't much of a wait. My waitress was attentive and made sure I wasn't in need for anything. The food was fresh and delicious. Cute decor, clean restrooms and a great spot for l
My pup had a good time at this dog park. It is very well kept and you can tell the grass gets properly maintained. There are two separated areas for small and large dogs. The large dog park is big enough for my 65lb dobie to run and hop around. There
