Claremont Pooch Dog Park - Dog park in Claremont - College Park, 100 S College Ave, USA

Park is going down hill. Two things is significance, owners are not picking up after tgeir K-9s and water for the dogs has been cut off. I'm picking up more and more cold poop near where my dog goes. What's worse is that we are stepping in dog pies while walking on the path. The last 6 visits have resulted in poop embedded in the shoes. I'm witnessing more and more owners bringing their dogs into the park and they themselves sit on the bench and put their nose into their phone until they are ready to leave. We are coming here less often because of the poor dog owners. The water being turned off is troubling. If gives a sense that the park is not valued. This may be negatively influence the behavior of those who come to the park. Broken windows effect. Old Review: Great local dog park with little and big dog areas, dog drinking fountains, benches, and now evening lights. Most visitors are good responsible dog owners. Parking is good when baseball isn't played next door. If baseball is in season don't hesitate to park on the street just before turning into the park.

Hello fellow dog owners, first off this park is great, yet there are some flaws that you need to be aware of. As mentioned before this park has lots of space and a separate area for small and large dogs. This park is missing working water fountains for the dogs besides one foautin located on the small dog side of the park. The park was recently closed for maintenance (11/09-12/07), yet there seems to have been little done to fix this park. Overall great owners and dogs, but please bring water for your dog!!

Great place to bring your dog, owners don't follow the rules and still bring aggressive dogs. At your own risk or bring a golf club. Some homeless in the park area with random strash scattered in the grass area at random times. Not my 1st choice.

Now this is a very private area out of the way location ..it's a wonderful dog park.. plenty of different breeds coming through..great for family fun.. it's a must do with your dog...

Very large dog park with separate areas for large dogs and small dogs if you choose. There was a lot of dog waste not picked up unfortunately. There is not a lot of grass, more dirt and dried, dead pieces of landscaping which stuck to my dog's fur. Although my dog enjoyed it, he came home excessively dirty. This particular park does not provide doggie waste bags which could be contributing to the excess waste not being picked up, but really that's up to the dog owners to take care of these places so we don't lose them.

This is a great place for your dogs to socialize and for you to meet other dog owners. Lots of dog owners warned me that there are some rough dogs at the park but I have yet to meet any of them. The one critique I have is a giant watery mud hole in the middle of the park. My white dog came home very dirty after going to the pooch park.

A nice park with water fountains, benches, a path going around the outside of each side of the park. There is a side for small and a size for large dogs.

Was great when it was built new but now smaller dog part needs a grass maintenance and half the time I visit I’ve noticed many dog parents are irresponsibly allowing dangerous dogs to wonder off leash or without mouth guards causing fights, so beware it is a normal risk but the risk has grown in recent years 😒 Overall I still am happy we have a Claremont dog park so 4 stars 😊🌟
