Not the most fancy motel you'll ever see, but it does the job. The guy who runs it makes sure he keeps the drugs and such out. The coffee pots work and the beds aren't bad at all. Good place if you need a room on a budget.
I tried to rent a room from here last week. I was asked where I worked and when I told the man I was disabled on disability he refused to rent to me. He said they do not allow people there 24/7. Ok cool being disabled doesn't mean I would be there all day. He didn't want to hear it and got very rude. No I would have no problem with you running me on ccap, I also came into the motel. I was willing to pay for 2 weeks at a time because my apartment is being worked on. Edit #2 I came in and gave the dude in the office my name and phone number so stop trying to slander me with your lies. The guy told me flat out that you would not rent to disabled people. Which is discrimination. Edit #3. I was in the office on Wednesday afternoon talking to who ever was in the office. Keep changing your story and showing how sketchy you are. Your guy in the office took my name down alone with my phone number. I have no issues showing you my id for you to have a copy. I have no reasons not to. I have NEVER been in trouble with the law for any reason. But you keep lying.

Please read all the way through as an update is at the end! YES reviews effect a business! When reading reviews you must take the date into account as over time management changes! I also view the response to the the reviewer by the owner and how they handle negative reviews. Most take the high road and apologize saying they strive to do better unfortunately you do not do that! After reading your comments on some of them I will never stay there! To say that you do not allow children, seriously??? Families travel they have children! Children make some noise most places take that into account and place them on one end single travelers on the other side. Simple to handle, peoples profile pictures are not always of them, I have had my Mom & Dad, niece, nephew, friends etc. If you are in the hospitality business you need to learn to be a little bit more hospitable! Again NO I have not stayed there I do not plan on staying here either! I have driven past many times and continue to do so until you have learned about hospitality. Then I will be the first to say how wrong I was, please prove me wrong. BTW it may be employees who are giving you a bad name if so please keep them from having access to your profile! I have received a reply to my above review & I will update it as I stated I am true to my word! This Motel is actually for those in need not for travels so kudos to the owner!!! I totally understand and agree with that it is not “family” friendly. I still stand by on how you reply to comments, I was looking for a place to stay and because I have passed your place numerous times and it looks very nice on the outside that is what brought me to reading the comments. I do commend you for your help within the community and thank you for that! I am sure many are not aware that this is the case and that where many problems are society in general do not recognize those in the background helping out those in need! Thank you!!!
I have been here for 3 weeks working in the area. The room is clean, and the bed is ok, old TV, but cable, and WiFi. Coffee pot, Microwave, and small refrigerator. Not the least expensive, but reasonable. Have a 'rules" checklist for you to sign, you take out your own trash. I would stay here again if in the area.||the manager was very helpful, and courteous. Never were bothered by any others that were there. Some long timers there.
Peggy is the owner and she is really nice and helpful. She helped us a lot since we have been here and the rooms are very affordable! If you come here to stay make sure: Your not a criminal or have a record because you will be kicked out... Your not on drugs, and you aren't doing anything illegal. If your normal and have a job then im sure you will enjoy your stay!
The owner is a paranoid old biker woman that comes in your room early every day and doesn't care if she wakes you up or not. Asked her to clean my room a few times but she always had an excuse not to, then one day she yelled at me in front of other tennants that she had to get into my room to clean! Someone threw up out of the bathroom window before I came there and instead of admitting that she missed cleaning it up she blames it on me. All kind of bugs in the room. Just a bad experience and a bad person to deal with. I would tell anyone looking for a discount hotel in the area to look elsewere.
The rooms are clean, and it's in great location, but the owner, Peggy, is not only in everyone's business and a gossip to all the guests, (including not being honest, and creating her own version of truth) she is extremely crude and honestly one of the rudest and meanest women I have met. She is truly in the wrong field and should not be working with public. Just by her treatment alone, I recommend going anywhere else In Eau Claire! There are lots of better choices!
I was on a road trip and looking for a pastrami sandwich. The Goodfella with pastrami and roast beef was great! Fresh and fast. I ordered through the side window, not sure if there is inside space to sit, there is a small patio if the weather is nice
So I've been following Quac and Rolls food truck for.... a long time. 5 years? 10? Either way, it turns out what they can do with a full kitchen is amazing. Unique Mexican. Like we all know there's 3 or 4 restaurants in the area with the same recipes
My girlfriend and I were craving waffles and in our quest to find the perfect waffle place, we found Jewelstone Cafe. This is a amazing hidden gem! Once you come up the stairs, to the second floor, you'll notice the quirky and cool decor, its very ho
The City has done a wonderful job revitalizing this area. New infrastructure, old pedestrian bridge, restroom and superb architecture. Did I mention the landscape design? Wowsa! A superb job of designing this park. Wild flowers galore, bumble be
What a classic! Our bartender was the best Iâve ever had (woman in her thirties with Princess Leia buns on the back of her head). She is fast, fun and filled us in on the Water Street developments and all the other questions we threw at her. We had
