I can't tell you how excited I was to discover an Irish coffee shop in St. Paul. There are so many great local places in the Twin Cities, you can't begin to visit them all, but this was a must, as I'm obsessed with all things Irish. I ordered the blueberry scone with clotted cream and a 16-oz "Claddagh" latte. The foam...Starbucks can't even touch it. It's the small touches that make local coffee shops so much better. The atmosphere here is very warm and cozy, and there is additional seating downstairs.
I haven't explored St. Paul's coffee scene much yet, but this place totally got me excited to check out more. My latte and banana bread were both fantastic, but the vibe was the best part. It was packed with locals on a Friday morning, which is always a good sign. Met up with an old friend there and it was the perfect spot to catch up. I am adding this place to my go-to cafe list. Highly recommended.
I have been on a quest to find a coffee shop in the twin cities where I can curl up in a comfy seat with a book. Claddagh has TWO couches! They have a downstairs area that is cozy and quiet, the perfect little spot in the cold months. They have an extensive offering of specialty lattes, I have tried 3 and loved each of them! I recommend the Hot Molly, O Danny Boy, and Sister Mary, each with oat milk. They blend the flavors so well with the espresso; it doesn't taste like syrup in a cup of milk like some coffee shops. I love this spot so much!
Great coffee and atmosphere. Also, a cozy basement! I can recommend the Claddagh latte and the Dublin crumb cake. The friendly barista confirmed my pronunciation of 'clah-dah' was correct... Or at least not totally incorrect!
One of my favorite St Paul coffee spots, specifically for the ambiance and feel inside. The coffee seems great but the experience both on the main floor and downstairs is very comfy and welcoming. Parking can be a bit tough since W 7th street is busy and there are other shops close by (Day by Day for example, which is an excellent brunch spot!!) which create traffic. But even if you have to walk a block or so its absolutely worth coming to
Love this spot! Probably my favorite coffee shop in the Twin Cities. The sister Mary latte with orange and chocolate is INCREDIBLE! I’ve been meaning to explore the downstairs soft furniture but the vibe upstairs is so welcoming I don’t feel like leaving. Highly recommend visiting Claddagh coffee :)
Stopped in for coffee mid-bike ride and got one of their seasonal specials (iced coffee + lemonade + mint?! Refreshing and delicious). Place was packed, took a while but happy to wait in such a cute space.
Good coffee at the Claddagh. Food is ok, and the breakfast sandwich with a side salad is tasty. But I come for the coffee which is good, and get a cappuccino most visits. Cozy interior with main floor + basement give it a good amount of space. Usually not too loud inside. Street parking not an issue. Sometimes you have to park around the block. There is also a smaller Claddagh up on Selby that only serves coffee to go, and it is good too.
1st timer, and it didn't disappoint! Highly recommend the pizza. It's probably some of the best I have ever had. It's light and airy. Legit enjoyed eating the crust when the pizza toppings were gone, which I never do. Perfectly sized pizza, too. The
We had my sonâs 11th birthday party at D1 and Kris and his staff did not disappoint! The kids had such a blast the entire time playing dodgeball, tug of war and football as well as racing each other pushing the sleds. They were all exhausted when
